Why didn't you use thread locker on the bolts when you replaced the tensioner ? Thats the reason why all this happened

@@jonyb4 My father in 90s had 3 Mk3 so now it's my time 😁 In Poland Capri is absolutely very rare, but now I'm living in UK where is so many parts - so hope in next 10 years back to the roads :)

@@bartekkk512 ah, it isn't being used much ATM due to electrical gremlins, and it's a bit tough to live with during the winter months as it gets alot of condensation and has no cold start on the map

You need to make sure you have the right offset for your wheels so they don’t rub on the arches😊

Gutted for you. Hopefully your confidence will return. I had a near identical roundabout T-bone writing off my car in 1984 and shook my confidence. However, it has never been repeated, but I remain vigilant of idiots.

Nice find the bottom part of the body is stone chip and the sunroof drain tube must have been put in the extraction box that’s not where it’s so posed to be someone on the ford forum should be able to tell you the code for the radio from the information on the sticker

The spindle will grab the film via those small notches top and bottom of the reel, it happens naturally

Voltage regulator on the back of the dash clocks is a common issue on them

@@jonyb4 replacing voltage regulator with a known good item. Also with the fuel guage, check the earth in the boot floor near the spare wheel

Those clocks need to be from a diesel as petrol ones although they work they’ll give you the wrong rpm

I’m sure they read higher than the actual engine rpm, also if your alternator uses a three pin plug (2 red & 1 blue wire) the w pin your looking for maybe on the back of the alternator from memory it looks like a m5 bolt sticking out the back
