Made these and they turned out PERFECT ❤ Soft, airy and chocolate-y. I was worried that they would be dense bec they're so tall but were incredibly moist! Notes 📝 • Batter was extra so I made 4 small cupcakes too • Changed the instant coffee grounds to 1 tsp ( wanted a sweeter, less coffee taste) Overall 10/10 recipe :)

You can substitute buttermilk with whole milk mixed with a bit of lemon juice. Mix 1/2 cup whole milk with 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice for this recipe. Hope this helps!🙂❤

Yes I do.😊The hot coffee deepens the chocolate flavor and helps dissolve the cocoa and sugar, making the batter smoother and richer.

I use salted butter and don't put coffee in the batter. I just like the chocolate

you can't taste coffee even if you add it, it even enhances the chocolate flavor more
