It's history, but what they should've done is redesign it and make it a hybrid. EVs aren't catching on fast enough to warrant so many models going to the EV platform.

I heard these are very expensive to service. Does anyone know if that's true? 66k and costly to maintain, doesn't sound all that great to me. I have a Lexus and those are bullet proof.

I was looking at this and the 24 Kia forte GT in terms of affordability. Kia with its GT DCT and technology won out. Trying to get the power you need out of that Sentra will make you want to drive that thing straight to the dealership for something else. I feel like Kia gave my GT for free with the price I got it for and last year model. A lot more power and torque in the kia, a better warranty by 100k miles, and the same fuel efficiency as that slug if not better even with its turbo. The infotainment system is really dated not to say the Kia isn’t dated but the software is much better. Nissan would need to sell the Sentra another $2-4k even in the SV to make people’s decision over the competition easier. Even if Nissan made a turbo version of the Sentra I would probably consider it still and the SR version.

Need apple car play because without Google map it is hard for new drivers to drive. But key is good because some car are coming with big keys and need to use it in the ignition.

Just bought a ‘24 Kicks SR today! 54 miles so far and I love it! It’s so easy to park and maneuver around. I traded a ‘21 Titan SV for it. Looking forward to the great gas mileage

No more fog lights? I don’t like the digital gauge cluster it reminds me of the new Accords and Civics digital gauge cluster. The older one looks more aggressive with the light up sporty red analog speedometers with the digital in the middle.

Mazda's niche is on presenting luxury and driving experience to it's customers, but they dropped the ball on this one - they really need to add remote start to there remote keyfobs just like the other brands.

I'm thinking of either getting this Altima SR or the Sentra SV. know, quite a substantial difference in trim and models but can you sell me on the differences between the 2 that would make it worth it to buy the Altima SR instead of the Sentra SV?

I have one, 6-speed manual, Pyrite Silver Metallic. Just made a trip last week from central Florida where I live down to Key Largo. I got 48.9 MPG average on the way down, 45.6 MPG average on the way back, due to some road construction in Florida City and detours that went through residential areas. My first tank of gas averaged 36.3 MPG.

Instead of navigating thru touchscreen menus, it would be better if you can switch on/off on the fly, like paddle shifters

I'm with you. I personally daily a 2020 bolt ev and it has a normal electronic gear shifter. Down for drive and down again for one Pedal. We all went physical buttons not touch screen controls!
