This library was the first library my kids and I first visited when we moved back here in 2014. The staff was nice and friendly and the library was clean. We also felt safe while visiting there. One of the things I loved the most about this library is the free books that were given to my kids. I don't think the librarians knew that we had been homeless and that we had lost everything. They had discarded books sitting on a cart, and we would get books. Having those books helped my children in school with their reading levels.. they soared. Yes I know you can check out books but the reason why it was important to us to have they're own is because we didn't have a car and we had to walk a good distance to the library. My kids graduated high and went to college. I give thanks to God for the librarians at this branch who cared to make sure all kids had books.

I am looking to Find and Speak with Joe Slattery. I was in Shreveport recently and spoke with Dave Bland at the Shreveport Railway Museum and He told Me that I needed to get in touch with Joe Slattery. I would like to talk with Joe about W. K. Henderson Sr.'s Father, James Griffin Henderson. And whether Joe might have some Information on James Griffin Henderson and possibly the Names of His Parents. Among a Plethora of other Henderson Information.

Works out like $50-55 a book. Way too expensive for me too unfortunately, especially considering there’s a new one every year l so doesn’t even retain any of its value if you wanted to resell

The Genealogy Dept. Introduction was great. I enjoyed listening to it and look forward to visiting the branch. Reed did a good job. Keep up the good work. More people need to know about the department. I would like to see it featured in the Best of Times magazine or on Rick Rowes our and About town.

I’m here to testify about what Dr godwin did for me. I have been suffering from (GENITAL HERPES VIRUS) disease for the past 4 years and had constant pain and inching, especially in my private part.
