About cmd r whats do exactly? Will put the right cue labeling no in the already following project or in the order are one next to other ? So i think will keep the initial programing intentions right ?
@derekscully

Command+R will number all your cues sequentially at once to save you the time of typing in each cue number individually.

Derek is exactly of this cause i had to resign from my tech position.poor management and bad organised shows .in fact always on fly is s big nono for me at least .do you agree a show needs more then 15 min to prepare right ?
@derekscully
@derekscully 8 ай бұрын
Yeah, a show should definitely have more than 15 minutes to run its tech cues

Hi derek ! How can i teach this qlab 4 ? Is version 4 your using here right ? Would you like to be my director ?

Yes, this was QLab 4. I keep hoping I'll have time to make some new videos for QLab 5, but I'm working full time these days, so I haven't had the bandwidth. Same reason I can't be your director haha

I mean it kind of depends on what you're trying to do. If you have audio and video elements, you definitely don't want Keynote running it all. But if it's just a bunch of slides, Qlab probably isn't a great idea since it introduces a lot of extraneous complexity and with that, opportunities for failure. And you also have ProPresenter as an option which is better than Qlab for shows that aren't super well rehearsed and are more spontaneous/free flowing. It's hard to "program" stuff in PP though. Qlab is great for when you want a lot of super specific things to happen at specific times.

Perfect. I needed a refresher and this was the best explained, easy to follow, and to the point. The quick keys were a nice touch as I also forgot that esc was to kill the cue.
