TLDR: Find the traffic lights and change the last number in the name to at least 10. Fixes issue with London MOD lights. So glad this video is here still after all these years

13:29 It's strange that no one managed to come up with the correct explanation for the camera behavior, considering it is quite simple. The culprit is that the camera is always attempting to keep the border of the map out of the camera field of view (you can test this at any zoom/pitch level), so when you pitch up too much, you start exposing the end of the map on the far side, and the camera moves back to prevent the edge from showing (at some point it can no longer move back, and resets). Resolution has nothing to do with it.

Hey CVA I am having problems with the editor, when I launch editor the top and bottom bars do not show up, I have put my screen resolution to my pc resolution and nothing shows up, only the normal menus for units, unit menu, etc. Could you help please?

It sometimes helps when you change your scale/tekst size back to 100%. I currently have a 4k monitor and to read any tekst i have it on 200% so that was the problem for me.

How did you make the hud fit your screen? With me the hud is super zoomed in, making it impossible to navigate the menus.

They should add a feature to make the player move the bale with the controller or mouse wheel, and if you close it too fast, bad things happen.

The ai allows you to get 1 or 2 to assist in situations and also tell them what to do.

Hi HeapCVA whilst I don't have the game I've seen video of the WLF/ prime mover being sent to a flooding call, you're not missing much it's literally drive to position A with the sandbag carrier drop it off, job done now you've got to drive miles to go home. The missions are extremely rare. Also if you're having recording sessions like this one where it transpires the game is doing a Q word you can head over to the yard and actually do some pretty decent training missions.

@Owen Reuby - Hey! Thanks for the info on the DLC vehicle addition. I'm glad I never made the move to buy it. I totally forgot about the training setup and I know I need to get into that more. You mentioned overheating. Check your vga bus frequency setting to the motherboard bus frequency.or it will cause overheating. I had this happen in the past.

@ sean hentschel - Sorry for the delay. I wanted to check something and run this issue by some of my favorite "experts". Usually, when the pull down menus are missing, your resolution has changed and the menus are off the screen. In the base folder, you can find the config.exe file. Open it with something like Notepad++ and see if the resolution in that file matches the resolution of your monitor. As this game gets older, our newer computer goodies dislike old programs more and more. The tutorial in this playlist can walk you through how to reset or change these settings. If you have an problems, let me know.

@Cole Spacey - The million dollar question with this game. If you haven't already, get on their Discord. There are some decent suggestions because most players are experiencing different issues. If it was just one thing over and over again, the fix would be easy. In this game, each time you play you can expect something different, a crash or issues with units and personnel. Let me know what you find out.

Glad you're back, sorry about your Mum. Love how the new appliances look with the black very Chicago, don't forget the game has a laying out feature now so for the storage unit fire it could've been easier to run the 5" off the back which automatically turns the hydrant on in single player with out the realism setting.

@Westover island Fan - This is an issue with the way the game tries to change your view/deal with your monitor settings. For me, the quickest fix is to edit the config.exe and not exceed the numbers I have listed in that tutorial. The game can lock or crash if zoom and expand are not the way the game likes them. Sounds weird but it the thing with an old game, old game-code and newer computers and monitors. Let me know if it makes sense to you.

I had the same and changed my scale/tekstsize layout back to 100% it was on 150% because of my 4k monitor.

@McDevboyz 2 - Hey. The first question anyone will ask you when playing this game is what kind of computer are you using. This game will use every spare bit of memory, cache, etc to keep the game playing and there's really no fixes, just patches to make it easier to load and maybe, maybe, even play. If you haven't yet, check their Discord as there are a couple players on there that seem to have some decent suggestions. Good luck!

Hey HeapCVA the reason why the AFA calls aren't working for you it's ,a real BS reason but blame the game: the door hasn't been fully opened so the task is regarded as 'incomplete' that's why you can't turn off the detector .
