Temp needs to be up around 450-500. Oil needs to go past its smoke point to polymerize well.

No idea how much flour, salt, or butter for dumpling. Or for soup. If you want to sell a cook book, just say so. I truly feel this was just click bait. So disappointed in you, Carla.

Dianne, click on "more," then scroll down to link to recipes for dumplings and soup. Most videos have this option to obtain recipes.

I just talked about a chicken and dumpling soup recipe myself @carlahall, great minds. I so love your upstairs studio kitchen with the trap door food lift. I like round, because my Nanna, never rolled out the dough. She just used a spoon or ice cream scoop. drop dumplings.

Hey Carla Hey !! what’s the best milk substitute to use as I do not engage in cows milk and I can’t use nut milks due to food allergies in the household? I so appreciate this recipe 💚 my aunt Honey used to make the best Chicken and Flat dumplings and I’ve been trying to duplicate it since she transitioned years ago💫✨🙏🏽

I can't do it. Please come to Japan and come to my house. I can't follow instructions because I hoped you could hang out with me. Let's cook. But serious. Can you tell me how many grams is two sticks of butter? I get confused when American people cook because Japan's measurements differ. For example, when people say a pinch of salt, it looks like a TBSP of salt. It's too much.

Great video , excactly how I cut up my birds......I rarely cook a whole turkey or chicken, I want my meat to be cooked to perfection , juicy and done ........no matter it fried, air fried , smoked etc.... The white and dark meat must be cooked separate. The carcass is great when smoked with wood and then broken down and finished off in a pressure cooker, no stock is better for a five star Turkey Soup than this method.......rice or noodles , celery or onion or maybe all because I have and all love it ! I roast my carrots and stop before they are completely soft , just a little crunch and add them to each bowl as being served. Also you can render the best smokey stock for many gravey dishes by freezing it. Don't settle for 3 or 4 star dishes are you and yours not worth a 5 star , my folks told me while growing up on a farm in the 60's " we are too poor to waste or not eat well " I don't care if its cornbread and pinto beans, you can make a 5 star meal out of it ! God bless
