Virgin trains were one of the best train operators in the UK for 22 years 1997-2019. Thank you to Sir Richard Branson and his Virgin Group for giving a good example of how to run a train company. Edinburgh Waverley is by far one of the busiest railway stations in the UK, with 20 platforms at the moment and possibly even more to come. Bigger than Birmingham New Street and Newcastle Central stations.
