I just got it 2 days ago shipped from Turin. It's powerful AF. You put like 5 near your face. That's brave. It lasted like 6-8 hours heavy projection. 2 speaks on one forearm

Not had the chance to look into any of these. Maison Crivelli's oud maracuja sounds like it may be worth investigating. After amouge and xerjoff the next house that is interesting me is Superz for some reason.

Great review man. Question: do you get breathing issues from some fragrances too? I get is especially from fresh fragrances. My airways kinda get irritated like asthma, doesnt stay long and isnt super bad, but its still there. U got that too?

TY. I did have this happen about 2 months ago. Im struggling to remember which fragrance it was. I understand that newer fragrances have to be certified through IFRA to avoid allergic reactions. Though there are many fragrances around that were before manufactured before Ifra.

Just bought althair myself. going to watch the whole video and spray it on when you do and experience it sort of together. love your vids mate. just calm very raw uncut first impressions of blind buys. often expensive once which make the videos even more exiting! keep up the good work

@lord_aj8351 Thank you for your kind words and I am pleased you enjoy the vids. Althair has become a favourite from PDM since filming this. Initially it was a little jumbled. However, it has settled down over the past months having had time for maturation. My only misgiving is longevity is 6-7 hrs. Let me know what you think about the fragrance. I understand many of the blind buys can come with a cost that is not always possible for people to afford. There will be some cheaper, popular fragrance reviews coming soon. all the best

Funny how people say it isn’t a powerful scent. I had a woman tell me it was too strong 11 hours after application.

11 hrs is good going. On my skin I get around 7 hrs before this starts to fade.

One of my favourite fragrances . Can’t really wear it to work … nor to the gym so it gets a pretty limited use but I looooove it 😂 got two 150ml bottles … I’ll never run out of this 😂

There has been many people talk about the lack of longevity with Greenley. It generally last around 10 hrs on my skin

Yes King Blue does look good. however, It is a case of trying to find it at a good price as it tends to be one of Amouages's expensive fragrances. 😞

Yes, one tends to be an overspayer. However, after experiencing how stong Alexandria II is I will not be using that many sprays in the future. lol

Easy 10hrs+ performance lasts for a few days on clothes. In terms of season, due to the intensity of the Rose in this bottle, I would not wear this in very hot weather. More suited for cooler possible colder seasons for my skin. However, it is a middle eastern fragrance and temperature can get very high there. I may have to try it in high heat just to see how it does perform.

@Frankie B Resala is rose heavy with a mild oud while Blue Oud is Oud heavy (almost pure) with a mild rose. Writing this has just given e a layering combo idea lol.

Hey Alpine you are going after all the hype heavy hitters. I purchased a full bottle, then a sample. Boy was I glad i did. I had the same reaction as you. It felt like a big mish mash of notes, with the passionfruit a bit too pungent. I let it go, not really for me and I couldn't get behind the hype. Keep up the good work

It does have a lot of hype behind it and Im not sure it is entirely warranted for the price. I may be looking into blind buying cheap fragrances that are recommended by you tubers to see if they are worth the hype. I understand that some of the fragrances I review may not be accessible for everyone.

Yes it is very highly rated by many people. The price has recently gone up further on the PDM website. If you have not done so already Mancera Red tobacco is a good compromise at a fraction of the price, around £80-£110, depending which discounter. I personally prefer Red tobacco than Carlise.

I've got a few PDM's that have the same bottle issue with the brand name, especially the "De" not formed well. It seems prevalent in the frosted glass bottles from 2022 and 2023. They are not counterfeit and if they were they would not project well at all. I wouldn't worry about your bottle of Althair if it projects good and lasts long.

@@AlpineMontane I know the feeling since I have been trying to get all of the men's releases by buying them when they pop up at a discounter. As long as you don't buy a bottle from a random ebay seller that has a price too good, you should be ok. I've never spent so much money quicker than trying to get them all.

Hi How do you find Nisean? I can't really make my mind about it. It's not a wow, but it's different, relatively unique (I do remember smelling only one perfume with the same vibes from Amouage... can't remember which one).

Nisean is one of those fragrances I rarely go for. When I do go for it I never regret it and wonder why do I not wear it more often. It has a narcotic affect on me and is always a pleasure. I think the reason for not wearing this is finding the right occasion to wear it in. It is very, very unique and is one that flies under the radar. I did do a film on Nisean though have not got round to editing it.

@@AlpineMontaneThat's the issue : when and where to wear it. I also think Nisean is low on versatility. It's not office safe, and where I live it is hot 9 months a year. Nisean is more suitable to cold weather. I didn't pull the trigger on Nisean because I'll rarely wear it as well. I did buy Shagya though, which is also unique (even more than Nisean imho), but it is also very versatile - I can wear it in hot weather, to the office, at evening events... an all rounder.

I understand I get around 6-8 hrs longevity off this. However, Since making this film I got hold of the 78% Vol batch. This is much more pronounced in the notes and performance is much better.

Yes I have been trying to get hold of the 78% Vol batch for a while. Only one I found was in romania and the person would not send to the UK. I will keep looking. Though to be fair to this I do get 8-10hrs

Thank you for spraying your full fragrance routine on camera and displaying how the fragrance would be perceived by the wearer. My only suggestion would be to revisit the fragrance in the same video after a couple of hours into the drydown to update the review on Fragrance progressions, performance, etc

One of my favorite. I love Amouage and have many from the house as it's my favorite house. However, I would caution anyone thinking of blind buying as it's a very complicated house. The only fragrance I would recommend a blind buy is Reflection Man.

Thank you for watching. Most of these videos are filmed in Cornwall which is in the South West of England. This film was taken in a place called Portreath. If you do ever get the oppourtunity then Cornwall is definitely worth a visit, especially in Summer, it is stunning.

One expensive baby wipe cologne LOL. But seriously, Xerjoff is one of my favorite brands for cologne. Never smelt such beauty before. Alexandria 2 is one of a lifetime fragerance. I have never smelt anything like it. Such a unique scent. The longevity lasted me literally 2 days. Like what? Now 3 gives off more of a funk because of the oud, but honestly it's really nice. Prefer that one over 2, but 2 is still a beast. If I had to rate it, 11/10 for 3, and 10.9/10 for 2. It's that close. Loved how you mentioned naxos, absolutely hate that one HAHAHA. Best of both worlds.

At the moment it is between Xerjoff and Amouage whose fragrances I currently find most appealing. I did try Alexandria 3 on the tester strip at the same time I tried 2. 2 was something else which set about an instant obsession to, absolutely, must have in the collection. You have inspired me to revisit 3 for another look as what I remember was Rose Oud combo. This is one of the best combos, imo.
