Looks beautiful! I will definately buy it but... that warp on the ressource wheel boards! 🤔😬... I'm now wondering if I should wait for the 2nd print!?! Not sure if it's a normal manufacturing thing as much as rushing the process and not allowing the proper drying time to meet the Essen deadline...

Just leave it out to acclimate and it'll be fine. During the day on one side, overnight on the other side. I've fixed much more sever warping than this.

When choosing a tower to move and there's a stack of towers you can move any one that you like..... That sentence is nowhere in the rulebook. What the rulebook says is move any Tower along with everything stacked on top. Very confusing and made us play the game completely wrong

I had a lot of interest in this game as I enjoy Uwe Rosenberg titles, but after sitting on the fence about a pre-order, the shark and mermaid you spoke about 46 minutes in pushed me to a decision. I need to see those tiles. Thanks for the gameplay and different interactions. Cheers

Its not even that good of a game. It's really procedural and the time mechanism is just really strange for a game like this. I think there are much better games in the same category.

The 2019 Anniversary edition also came with the original board from 1999 and the original components - is there any way to order those? This version appears to only have the new art edition board and components - I'd like to have both. Thanks!

I love Gaia project and I am very excited for this expansion. But this video is not good. It seems like you had no idea what you were going to be doing. I would suggest a script and learning what these components are BEFORE shooting. Also use a close up camera instead of just waving the components around in your hand.

I get quite nervous when I play a game live on stream; definitely made a couple of mistakes and accidentally cheated here. It's always fun to play this game and hang out with Nelson though.

are your secret goals (brown cards with the hourglass) a part of your hand that needs to be discarded down to 3 or 5 at the break? it seems like it at 12:20 according to this video, but I thought those cards were separate. Thanks!

Just finished playing our first gaming session of Juicy Fruits and it was awesome! Congrats on a great game with lots of components for a great price! I think my favorite play was purchasing a four slot tile and zooming ahead in points, feels so awesome!

Just played my first game. It was…ok? I know it’s hot stuff right now but it feels VERY much like Terraforming Mars in a lot of respects; Card synergies, tiles on map, etc. Won’t be buying it but I get the hype for the most part. Just not for me.

@@pearldsouza7945 YES! I wish to retract everything I said! 😇 I’ve since played again… …and again… …and again… And then some! Bought the expansion as well. Excellent game! It’s funny, just about everyone I know had the same reaction I did: just didn’t “get it” on the first go. I picked up a used copy of Elysium yesterday ($5!) and got to talking with the guy and I asked “have you played Ark Nova yet??” And he said “yeah, we tried it and it’s just not for us…”. I was like “dude. I feel your pain. Believe me, try again!”. 👍

@capstone at time 4:59 , If my "CARDS" action are at level "II" and my action levels are at level 5, is that mean, I can draw up to 4 cards at the the reputation range? (Provided my reputation level is fulfilled)?

Why is it LOWEST coins produced wins? I don’t understand the thematic intent - makes it hard to explain to others - please explain! Thanks!

Mechanically, this forces players to make both beer and bread. Otherwise, you could just rush bread and score the highest you can. It creates a balancing act for the players rather than a linear path to victory. Thematically, I suppose you could say the game is called Beer AND Bread, not Beer OR Bread.

Thanks for the tutorial. I have the game ordered and waiting for it to arrive. This tutorial will be most helpful to get me started with actual game play. So glad to see a specifically designed 2 player resource management/card drafting game. The game mechanics look very interesting.

Is the black party supposed to be the DNVP? The name in that player aid sheet in the upper right doesn’t read what DNVP stands for (Deutschnationale Volkspartei “German National People’s Party”).
