This show will not survive without Spencer. I also read the synopsis and it’s basically a retelling of season 1 just with different high school kids. A kid transfers from Crenshaw to Beverly to play football. The only thing different is that he plays quarterback. It sounds like Jordan and Layla are going to be the new Billy and Laura. They just copied and pasted season 1, but with new characters we’re not invested in.

All American should have just concluded with season 6. All the storylines were tied up. Why add additional characters to create storylines the audience is not already invested in?

Just continue with homecoming and then give the original show a 10 episode final season revolving around Jordan finding his uncle while struggling being a newly wed and coaching the new generation
