Would like to try some of your mods, unfortunately I am not an experienced programmer which makes it virtually impossible for the majority of people. Hopefully you can resolve that.

My mods? You mean the reshade presets in Nexusmod? I did use reshade here actually. The engine.ini tweak looked like it didn't work since VRAM usage is only 4GB. Maybe the devs should increase the VRAM limit to 7GB for 2060 super. If you want engine.ini settings you can have a look here www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/660

This mod list is very taxing on your rig. Your getting like 20 fps. What are your pc specs?

actually the fps was okay. I didn't use vramr or the cathedral optimizer. Once i used those game was fine. This was run live. There are still a lot of textures using 4k. I re-scaled them to 1k and it was smooth after that. 1k environment textures are what you need for my kind of rig.

i use nvidia 2060 super. I think this GPU should be the lowest everyone should use now. You should use SSD as well.

enduring shadows and Enduring flame make it a cake walk. also equipping the right gear that resist flame and shadow helps a lot.

Idrial has a few pieces of equipment that, when Gandalf casts enduring shadow she can become immune to pillar of wrath and inferno roar attacks. It's been a long time since I played and I don't remember if it also make immune to the ap drain from those attacks. Hadhod has a buckler and helmet that grants great fire resistance so his enduring flame move will grant him enough resist to be immune to flame sword and whip of fire.

I feel like I need to be a lot higher level for this fight. I'm level 5 and he takes out Nightsong in the second round every time. Then my team drops like dominoes.

Usually one of my character dies in a fight. My rogue and wizard however would dance out of harm.

funny that youtube suggested this video to me, I made it through this trial today. Still confused as to what the trial was all about, pretty much just jumped three times over the whole thing. Are those shadowy platforms supposed to be invisible or what?

You need the lantern to be able to see the invisible platform.

@@vstormvbringer76 I saw them without any lanterns, but I happened to had a certain spell active at the time that perhaps might also work as lamp of some sort. The amount of random interplay in this game is enormous!

@@AlexN0 Clerics have a lot of light spells unfortunately light spells are usually a waste of slot. Already had the pixie's blessing and weapon that is glowing. Unless you don't have any other light resource or you'd know you be going up against a vampire/undead sorts. So i never bothered to test the spells.
