Could you clarify the timeline please? You seem to have gotten the cuttings in summer with figs growing on them. However, your date of one-week-old cuttings in the bottles are in April 2019, which is springtime. One way is to get cuttings in the fall, wrap them in moist paper and plastic bags and store them in the fridge. Then start the rooting process indoors in the spring when it's warmer. It'd be intriguing if you're able to root them indoors over Vancouver winter. Even with a grow light I don't think it's as easy as if you wait till spring.
