Excellent video! Do you mind sharing the link to the injectors with the needle option? I’m seeing hundreds on Amazon but really like the ones you are using, thank you!

Are you able to pop the epoxy out of the mdf or is it permanently in there?

Hey bro great video. Very helpful. Good to hear the hand is on the mend. I have ordered some air brush colors from amazon to try. I used a black powder that came with my resin and the black did not work good at all. I live in Canada and was not able to get the same brand you use. Hopefully all air bush paints are similar and use a lot of pigment. One question, what bit/brand of bit/ size of bit do you use for the cnc epoxy carving portion? Thanks

Apologies for that. I had a REALLY bad hand accident over the summer. Just able to get back into the shop. New videos are in the works now!...I had just started the channel a few weeks before the accident. But I'm all healed now!😊

I'm working on a video now explaining it. It's a stl file, with each color broken down into individual parts that I turn into cut files.

Why don't you use a bigger bit to do the roughing pass before using the 1/8" (just thinking out loud)
@littlecncshop
@littlecncshop 8 ай бұрын
You definitely can...and on bigger pieces I do. This was small enough that I could do it all with 1/8" in about the same amount of time as doing 2 passes.

@littlecncshop why not use the "area clearance" tool path and step down from larger to smaller??
@littlecncshop
@littlecncshop 7 ай бұрын
@@ClintonCaraway-CNC this was an area clearance. Switching to two bits would have saved me about 10 mins. If you read the description you'll see it's going deep, and fast. Wasn't worth setting up a 2nd bit to save minimal time.

Just what I've always used. You can definitely get the same results with using the black paint from createx. I've just always used activated charcoal for black, and have a ton of it haha

Feel like it would be more power and time efficient to use some form of saw or chisel once you reach this step
@littlecncshop
@littlecncshop Жыл бұрын
Sure. But this saves me those many hours of finishing I'd need to do if I used a saw and chisels....takes about 2 hours to cut the entire neck out, and only needs a light sanding after.
