This drill is suited for drilling and tapping a lot of holes quick. The author of this review should have realized this before he bought it or at least after using it. The double slide gives lots of room to use the chuck with long bits. I bought a top quality universal-Nitto to Weldon adapter for $25

No way that gas service line is large enough for this thing to develop full power.

I know it sounds counterintuitive, but if the grizzly bars are inverted, they don't wedge full of rock. The issue with them being like they are is they funnel the rock down so it wedges in the slot. If you close in the open side of the angle, and put them with the flat side up, you'll find the rock won't wedge in as bad.

It looks good. It was hard to tell but did you counter sink those screws on those nylon pads?

No. They are far enough inside to miss the plateform rails that run on them.
