In case anyone was curious, his guitar is tuned down to about halfway between Eb and D. Ted was a fan of having his guitars in Eb so it's likely his guitar was set up for that and the tuning drifted down slightly from there.

I like hearing ted on a semi hollow , I know he’s mostly known for the tele , but as I heard him say , this guitar is home for me
