Yes! I loved Ronan, but I felt like he deserved a better love interest. Especially being in his daddy pleasure dom role, I think a character like Iris from Long Shot would’ve made soooo much more sense for him. I adore Eden so I have very high hopes!

My goal was 40 books this year which is VERY little for me. I’m usually reading 100 books a year. I’m on book 54 so little ol me thought to increase my book goal on goodreads. I pushed it up to 75 😒 BUT I like a challenge 😏 currently reading The Conductors by Nicole Glover. I loved those Holly Black books btw.

Wow!! Great haul! So many variety of genres.I used to be a heavy romance reader I’m more into thriller/mystery & historical fiction, women contemporary work. I loved Yellow Wife and will be reading House of Eve soon as well. I tend to wait until the hype of some books come down before picking it up. I’m also making a point to prioritize the books that have been on my TBR list since 2020 😝🙊

You have to read Just Right you will love it so so good and also Roomie Lover Friends was also 🤌💕📚 I agree Rae and Hunter gave Dom and Sloane some competition. I just loved Hunter and watching him adapt to fatherhood and the flashbacks into their relationship 😢an amazing read. When Rae said "I thought I'd never have what I actually wanted again so I did care what actually got" 😢

I went into this book with an open mind because it had a lot of “tropes” that I enjoy but I just HATED the MCs and it was a solid 300 pages too long. I got around 50-60% and was like “it’s still going???” (Also I just can’t do millionaire/billionaire romances where all their problems are just superficial rich people problems)

Yes! Like almost everything following her being initiated as Ryat’s chosen was just unnecessary. If it had been a solid 300 pages and an epilogue written with the same intensity the latter half of the book had it probably would’ve been a solid read.

The entire series gives The Handmaid's tale 😂😂 because even the ppl of Gilead think their practices are for the better good. I enjoyed the novella Sabotage more than the series. I also think reading a book like Debt of even Losers really sets the bar high. Would definitely skip The Sinner and go to the Sacrifice.

When you’ve started off with brilliantly done dark romance the standard is raised tenfold. I really like Tyson’s character so I hope the Sacrifice is a more satisfying read.

I had no idea you had a book channel too!! Aaahhh I love it! Following this channel too! I couldn’t find any of these books in my libraries on my Libby app so I may have to go to a Barnes or buy off Amazon or something. The Ritual didn’t sound too bad until you said how many pages it was and how at the 350 page mark that’s when it started to get descent. The Orc Prince sounds interesting!

Yay for another installment of Book and Breakfast. Girl you got me wanting to try that french toast recipe. I keep hearing about Tia Williams. I have the physical copy of A Long Song for Ricki Wilde and I'm ready to crack that baby open. Liselle Sambury is also on my list of authors to try. I really want to get into black fantasy and I think that may be a good place to start. Outdrawn has been on my TBR forever and I can't want to buddy read that with my gf. My current read is We Deserve Monuments by Jas Hammonds and its so good.

If you try it you’ll have to let me know how you like it! Probably one of my favorite recipes that I’ve personally created. Liselle Sambury is a great place to start if you’re new to black fantasy. If you want something adult, Vicious Bondd by Shanora Williams is a phenomenal urban fantasy. She blends our world with the fantastical so perfectly!
