ich habe in den 70zigern die niederlande u.herman brood geliebt.als deutscher zwar unbeliebt in holland.uns ist schon passiert das ,raus wir verkaufen nichts an deutschen.wir waren kleine doofe hippies und total geschockt.ich liebe die niederlande obwohl ich dreißig jahre nicht mehr dort war.herman wir lieben dich und hören deine musik immer noch.

De beste Normaal en de beste Wild Romance. Beide bands in deze samenstelling nooit meer overtroffen. Rock 'n roll tot in z'n diepste essentie. Speulen in een band liekt mooier dan 't is. Moar zo vaak as ze oes te speulen vroagt, stappen wie lachend de bus weer in met een pens vol power en 'n goeien zin.

Renegade is one of the best songs ever...Listening to Thin Lizzy from 1984 as a young boy... Now im 54... One of the best bands ever and cried when I heard that Phil died... So sad... Well, Thin Lizzy lives still in my heart and they will live long in KZbin, LP, CD etc...

Huh de reacties verplaatsen. Herman B. and his Wild Romance😎 en Normaal 😂. Mijn voorkeur ging uit naar Herman B. Zijn concerten ontelbaar vaak bijgewoond.

Normaal in de jaren 70 en 80 was ook top. Legendarische optredens in Vondelpark (afgebroken) en Paradiso.

Benny Jolink, de grootse nepper in muziek. Had niks met boeren, waren alleen financieel aantrekkelijk en als crosser "Rocky" een grote windbuil. Een grotere lul in de nederlandse muziek bestaat er niet.

Normaal speelde 40 jaar lange elke feesttent plat in Oost en Noord Nederland, daar moet je wat voor kunnen en iets speciaals brengen wat niemand anders heef5. Herman was een klasse apart gedurende 5 jaarsbestek muzikaal maar uiteindelijk doet iedereen zijn ding.

Wow I was at this gig and remember phil saying it was being filmed. He was telling jokes while he said they were putting new film in the camera's. Great too see it again , it was a fantastic gg

What makes the harmonies in Renegade so special is the fact that they are not "linear". Everyone with two guitars can play harmonies that are linearily always thirds. But here, the interval between the two guitar lines changes in the course of the phrase. This gives a very special mood to it. It's comparable to the ending phrase of "California Hotel", which is also very elaborated.

I used to work here for about 2 yrs(pi/up my first pay cheque from the Rank Org (right tight f##kers they were!) Anyway i got fired for being late in the evening ( i was working at my first job) So about 5mnths later an Pal of mine who was right into the 'Lizzy' told me they were playing at my former 'work place' so up we went( there was about 6 people waiting by the an exit door as instructed) i strolled in past the security (who did give me an odd look,but they were cool fellas) and i let them in&,and there was standing room only that night and one of the Managers walked by& lingered for a few mins ( which seemed like an eternity& i think he knew what had went down) then he said hello& how are u?& thankfully f#'#ked off & and i exhaled& they got to see the show for nothing! And i always remembered ' Whiskey in an Jar O' which was Absolutely fantastic...THE END...

1:55 that performance of suicide sounds great wish there was a full version. You can just see it in Robbo and Downeys face it’s 1975 again if only Scott was there.
