Why would you craft the minecarts beforehand?! You can carry thousands of times as much if you simply carry one single crafting table. Fill 31 inventory slots with iron blocks, 1 crafting table, 1 redstone torch, powered rails, some chests, and finally some building blocks. Place the construct, slap the rails on, power them. Place the crafting table and chests, dump all but 4 stacks of iron blocks into the chest. 4 stacks of iron blocks get crafted into 36 iron ingots, that's the full inventory. 3 stacks of iron ingots are enough for a full inventory of minecarts, and then some. This means you can transport about 3.5 thousand minecarts plus the whole setup in one go. This may be a bit autistic, but someone crafting this many minecarts just to store them before usage is so painful to watch.

I go on my friends server in 7D2D and load my inventory full, then mine. All the blocks fall on ground and soon massive piles build to ceiling...lags server bad after awhile.. then they rage and I pick up all the blocks...I think two or three folks could freeze it or bring it down. This is funny to see in minecraft as the wheel breaks down and the rage starts. Of course id never do this for real to unknown folks.🤭🤗

If there's lag on the server because of "major packet loss", which normally is a client issue but whatever, would be lagging the server at all times. Please just go take a course on how tf does a connection between client/server works.
