These are the planner struggles we all face :) this year I’ve decided to go undated on my weeks and days. I bought a weeks booklet monthly from sterling ink, a weekly notebook undated from Papertess and a weeks grid notebook from Papertess as well. I will be using the grid notes pages of the undated weekly for tracking and different lists. I’ve noticed that even though I tell myself I can washi tape over dates, it still bothers me a lot when I skip blank pages or there is a subconscious pressure i get for filling them. That’s just me. But this way I have the structure of the week and just write in the dates for the weeks and I’m good. So, my take on this video would be that you should probably go with Sterling ink, knowing you have that penchant on not liking the dated dailies. Sometimes you just want to do more than one page or less than one page, and that delineation can just drive you nuts sometimes. Regarding the two books however, I would say that it’ll be nice that by the second half of the year you have a fresh and clean notebook to look forward to. :)

Thanks for the review on these! I have the sterling ink but just saw the journey the other day and had to order it! I’m using the sterling as a work only planner and am going to use the journey now as my everyday life planner! Can’t wait till mine comes in!

Nice review and fast! I also have a B6 from Sterling, Inc., and the journey planner. I like them both. I think I’m going with the journey planner. I don’t mind the dated pages at the back I kind of like them. There is more structure for me in the journey planner. i’m tired of drawing out trackers for the month and the review page and an overview page and all that kind of thing. I also got tired of putting those date stickers on when I journaled. I like to set everything up for the week and be done but I had to fiddle with getting them out of the package and putting the day of the week and the dates on, I didn’t like it. I will have many leftover pages in my sterling ink, and if I have to skip pages in the journey planner because the dates not correct, I don’t mind that. Because every single page in the journey planner is numbered I can always go back and put a recipe or something in one of those blank pages I didn’t use and then index it, or I could practice drawing something or water coloring or anything. I hope you bought her cover because it is fantastic. It seems Sturdier and has multiple pockets and a secretarial pocket.
