Did you put that bit of fish food in your tank blended everyday to maintain the ammonia?

I’ve added both purple helix and pink fusion to both of my tanks… I have mainly live rock in both tanks, but I do have a few pieces of dry rock in each tank… After a month, I noticed an explosion of colors… They’ve started out tiny, but with a multitude of colors.. The pink fusion has given me light pink all the way to dark pink Coraline.. I have lavender and magenta starting on the rocks.. And I can tell a difference in the pink that came from the purple helix.. But the purple and the pink are very vibrant and are scattered throughout my tanks.. The only difference that I had done was cutting back my lights for the first two weeks… Keeping my normal perimeter for all my corals… I run my lights 1-6-5 With those two weeks… carefully checking my par Levels for my corals…. It is a great product and I have had excellent results with it….

What's the actual water height for this skimmer?

What if oyu calcium is already mixed and in liquid form and Also my mag is already at 500 and trying to bring it down. I have coraline in one tank and other has very little and only on rocks! My newer tank has it every where the tank that dosnt have much is amost 5 years old too!I don't get it! They both have very similar parameter. I did do a lot of dosing of mb 7 to that one tank. Could that stop it from growing? i need it to grow on my newer acrylic frag racks because this racks keep getting this red stuff on them and gets on zoas and has killed them! I have treated sevral times for cyano and nothing works so it must be something else. maybe diatoms! Its only one the racks too and not sand bed! great video

You can take a shell from a hermit crab that has coraline on it. Just rub it all over the rock. Offer the crab a nice new shell and he will move so you can use it.

I wouldn’t do this if you’re getting that much Coraline algae just scrape your glass. I’ve had tanks with so much coral and growth. I’ve had to soak the equipment in vinegar and scrape all the sides just to get rid of it. Once it starts growing, it’s really annoying.

My salifert nitrate test kit showed a hint of brownish instead of white/pink/purple.. what does it mean?
