Google "Statistical Atlas Fredericksburg Texas" and click on the Race and Ethnicity category; You'll see that newborns--the coming generation--are majority non-white by a large margin. Compare that to generations before which were over 90% white. It's not hard to see where this is going. This German town will be no longer within a generation.

@@myrealnamewontfi7289 well, first of all german is a culture not a race so let’s say there’s a bunch of Russians coming like it happened in those times. They’d probably have the same effect and “displace” the german population. What would truly happen is both cultures would complement each other. Plus they would have to pass on to the next generation the language which is hugely important. That’s just how things evolve though. Since it’s a culture, it can be taught to anyone regardless of skin color.

I've been to Fredericksburg before and it looked like the town was in dire need of immigration to keep it alive. Immigrants are often antagonized, but at the end of the day immigration is what keeps cultures alive and evolving. Attempts to conserve a status quo are always futile and counter productive. I just live a few minutes away from the real Octoberfest and let me tell you, the outstanding feature isn't its pure display of tradition and culture (if you want that, go to smaller local Fests), but the fact that it is a party joined by millions of people from all over the world who remarkably peacefully get shitfaced and have a good time together no matter where they are from. Don't gatekeep culture, it is the surest way to lose it.
