While I did play the other weapons and up their mastery to max and unlock all the skills, and I do main dual wield, I did also master playing with the other weapons too. I think I have an HNM fight for each weapon type. I'd have to hunt down a vid for each one later. Got all their sword skill mastery to 2 stars at the least, and a green or gold tier weapon for each category. Though haven't played in a while lol.

@@Shin_FTW thanks very much for the reply. just got all the skills you mentioned for dual wield in some gamefaqs post by leveling all weapons skills and some EX skills (for more skill points). Never bothered to really look at it while playing unless porting, so I didn't keep it open more than a second. But he's next to the first map fragment in Altus, just up the road going towards the bridge that ports you to the windmill village.

This is one of few games I've taken personal pride in and liked pushing myself in different ways. Partly because the game devs style made the game very unbalanced (often in an annoying way that I take issue with on a fundamental level), giving all the more reason to wanna conquer it lol.

@@xAphoely Yeah I offered a lot of insight about the enchantments and where I (and most others) have them placed, and why. The armor tier list apparently looks like a one-sided conversation with a ghost now that I'm hidden from the channel lol. I forgot about the other lists I commented on. It must've been an old comment.

Yeah I have everything listed in the video description, including the weapons and Talents used, as well as what I put my points into for the fight. Visually all my armor is the Primal Outcast set, the same cape listed, and Ring of Harold's Revenge.

@@Frankie_Danky123 To be fair, there are a few armors that do that effect, but yeah you want stuff to up your Multi-Strike chance and to give additional strikes when Multi-Strike triggers. When you see my attack land a LOT of hits at once and chunk the enemies' health down instantly, that's Multi-Strike.

Rogue is difficult. By far the weakest class in the game, even if it's my favorite. I had the advantage of having 5 classes (one on each file) to help farming, though that wasn't the intention. For Electro Worm I do have a video doing it with Roguq - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHKrgqqdqbyXmJY The melee were the Sickles of the Purest Loathing, which I got from a Hard Mode Relic Defense run farmed with the Mage, but you don't need this. I used it because of the Earth element for Electro Worm, but Void Magic works the same. You only have to give up +100% damage-over-time duration, which doesn't matter against bosses who have invincibility anyway. Plus Sickles of the Purest Loathing get no bonus from your talents, which daggers do. So what you wanna do is this: Attribute points: +87 Dex Talents: Lv2: Dagger Expert Lv5: Stealth Master Lv10: Void Magic Lv15: Envenom Lv20: Critical Perception Lv25: Cheat Death Lv30: Bushwacker Equipment: *Blades of Dissolution* You craft this from a recipe found in either the Tomb of C'Thiris or from the summonable All-Watcher miniboss. It has 202 Atk, +41% elemental damage over time, +26% backstab, and can reset your stealth cooldown when you inflict a crit (including if your elemental damage over time deals a crit). *Shadow Scout Hood* This is a fairly low level head piece that only gives 50 armor, but Hard Mode bosses are oneshots anyway. It gives +2% to your Multi-Strike chance, which is the thing you want the most of. *Mail of the Unknown Assassin* This is the Rogue's ultimate craftable armror from a recipe only found in the Tomb of C'Thiris. It gives +5% Multi-Strike chance, as well as +1 additional strikes when Multi-Strike triggers. However, you could also just use Elite Eliminator Jerkin which has the same two bonuses, but looks less cool and gives 323 armor instead of 380. It's crafted from the Lv4 Rogue Station. *Kingslayer Gauntlers* / *High Reaper Gloves* This is a matter of elemental damage vs critical chance. Kingslayer Gauntlets have 89 armor, are obtained from the Portal Knights Sanctuary after defeating the Hollow Knight (a Rogue armor), and give +40% elemental damage over time, while High Reaper Gloves are 67 armor the Lv4 Alter (Mage station), which gives you +7% crit chance. I tend toward High Reaper since any class can use it, but either is fine. *Gladiator Champion Legbraces* These are a fairly high level armor you can find in chests in iirc the 3rc section of the game, after the Dragon Queen. It has 253 armor and gives +4% to your multi-strike chance, with +1 additional strikes per multi-strike trigger. *Cape of the Kingless Crow Steward* / *Temple Mines Cape* Cape of the Temple Kingless Crow Steward (obtained from the King of Light) offers 66 armor, giving +27% backstab damage and +52% ambush damage, which lets you deal MASSIVE damage to these Hard Mode boss minions (especially the Saurians in this video since they hit hard), but you can't really make huge use of the backstab on bosses. Meanwhile, Temple Mines Cape is bought from the Relic Defense DLC shop, offering no armor protection but gives a whopping +31 mana regeneration for longer fights (if you can't waste a lot of Mana Potions). Either cape is great since you'll wanna be using Pounce a lot on the minions. *Ring of Divine Protection* This ring's decision is easy. It offers +4% multi-strike chance and +1 additional strikes. Multi-strike is the key to making these fights not take forever. However, for minions you can also use this combo: *Helm of the Trickster God* (Portal Knight's Sanctuary) +10% movement speed *Engangle:* 15% chance to hold an enemy in place for 3 seconds after inflicting damage. *Gold Throwing Stars* (All-Watcher miniboss (iirc)) +9% movement speed *Entangle:* 4% chance to hold an enemy in place for 3 seconds after inflicting damage. The Gold Throwing Stars already hit multiple times as it is, and hit from a distance. On top of multi-strike chances, they hit enemies A LOT, so Entangle is constantly triggering with this gear combo, meaning you can hold an enemy in place forever until it dies, which shouldn't take TOO long. The element is Water, so you'd always need to be using Void Magic to deal "super effective" elemental damage. You can cheese a lot of enemies with this weapon.

I used the poison spider as one of them for the earth element, and the thunder gazer for the speed and raw DPS with multi-strike gear. I remember that much lol.

Quick question. How do I get the Talma of the first exploiter? I’m a druid and my friend is a mage.

Oh right. Talma of the First Exploiter is a drop from the King of Light. Bit of a steep task. Shroud of the Spectral Mage is from Hollow King, and is almost as good. Or you can go for the Temple Mines Cape, which you buy from the Relic Defense DLC. Gives no mana, but gives +31 mana regen, which beats the +22 mana regen of the Talma. Just doesn't look as cool.

@@Shin_FTW Ah, Okay. I wasn’t sure how to get it yet! I may have 3 level 30 accounts (2 Druids, 1 Warrior.) but I never defeated the king of light. PS: I abused the hollow king so many times that he eventually gave me the Dark Prince, 5 shapeshifts. Or at least I think he gave 5.. He gave me 2 sun spider shapeshifts, 2 Shadow Bears, and 1 Thunder Gazer II.. Or at least I think I got the thunder gazer II from him.

@@zackfair1868 I can already finish the game in 21 minutes or so without Muramasa or RoV. This one was going for 999 Atk and 100 Def before finishing the game.

@Shin_FTW ohh noted but why not get the muramasa earlier before finishing the game that is much earlier. But that being said that is also a nice strategy to get muramasa earlier if you play new game +. I think you can put on title "other method in getting muramasa"

@@zackfair1868 You mean on normal NG? Yeah I did get the Muramasa early on my first playthrough, but I didn't level it up too far. That was just a normal run since I needed Ring of Varda to help get to 100 Def, even if I could get Muramasa to 999 Atk without it.

I had to go out of my way to make the bosses more interesting/entertaining in videos lol. But even my other Akmodan II vid isn't much more than this.

I fought Galamoth with no equipment or relics. Just used well-timed spells for brief i-frames to dodge him. That was fun. Also did a bit where I fought only with spells and the Stopwatch by using a Duplicator with a Mana Prism and Heart Refresh. No weapons. Also pretty fun.

@@michaelsong5555 Considerably more fun than punching Galamoth for like 40 damage a pop lol. If you master the forward slide you can do all sorts of fun momentum tricks with Mana Prism's i-frames.

Crissaegrim has more reach, so you can mow things down from a safe distance, while Alucard Shield + Shield Rod does need you to safely hit things first for the invincibility, but overall that's more powerful. Though with a Duplicator, you can spam Power of Sire and Mana Prism for infinite i-frames and full-screen damage. You can use this trick to get past the spike corridor early instead of needing Spike Breaker.

@@Shin_FTW Wait, what? Isn't Mana Prism just for filling the MP? And was there i-frame for Power of Sire or Mana Prism?

@@michaelsong5555 Yeah for some reason you have invulnerability during Mana Prism. I did that trick in the spiked corridor for a video iirc. Don't know why they did that. Doesn't work for Power of Sire, but will work for potions and stuff.

Por eso, hice algunas cosas que normalmente hago en mi partida. Tengo mis objetos organizados por tipo y daño, para que sean más fáciles de encontrar. Y mi objetivo era tener 99 en cada estadística, así que tuve que asegurarme de guardar mi partida antes de cada nivel para poder reiniciar si no obtenía un nivel perfecto.

@Kirolegend45 With Torment Quiver you could. Without it you wouldn't have enough soul gathering to make much soul use. At that point a full melee build would be better.

Well, there is technically a way to lower your level, but it's balls hard to get access to and requires you to first overlevel and fully optimize yourself anyway, so it's more so to use for chapter select play.

It's definitely a fun fight. I've actually managed to dodge it just with movement alone in a video. No i-frames. Same for the Frozen Half's "Maximum Power!" ice rain attack. That one was wild lol.

You can do that in some situations. Ancients that are packed with their minions for instance. A PC player modded the camp to be Apoc+30 and I used a Cursed Axe with Voidstrike + Unchanting + Gong + Powershaker (all 251) to obliterate them.

Yeah. Say you're using Fighter's Bindings, or even a weapon wider like Diamond Sword, and there's a bunch of mobs around you, especially surrounding you. You use Powershaker and hit the first few mobs in front of you, but then all the rest you're hitting normally. Unless you try kiting mobs together to hit them all with Powershaker, but you'll take a lot of damage doing that. Meanwhile if you Gong, all of them are affected, so your melee is gonna get its 2x value on all of them.
