My first anime was actually Sonic X... And this was before I knew what it was. I believe my second and third ones that got me onto the mainstream were Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z. Three of my favorites are Snow White With The Red Hair, Candy Candy and Astra Lost In Space

Actually, It was Charlie Adler who voiced Lupi Frankenfox. It's definitely a fusion of Chicken from Cow & Chicken and Ickis from Aaahh! Real Monsters! I'm a big fan of this foxy.

I remember two more “Animate your world” promos. One features a woman with a coffee pot for a head and if I remember correctly, the message was to take as many ideas as you can and blend them all into one, like blending many different flavors of coffee into one cup. The other I believe was called “Reinvent the road” and it features a guy who gets stuck in a jam, but when he exits the car, he then goes down a sewer and later walks on a tightrope. The message was to find a new path and make your own path to new and exciting places.

Tom Kenny was NOT the singer for Pinchface. From what I heard, it was a klezmer artist named Lorin Sklamberg who sang it.

While I wasn’t alive during the 80s, I remember seeing the 1982 mtv motel bumper on KZbin when I was 12 years old and being scared shitless. Just the atmosphere of it, the ominous sinister sounding music, the camera slowly zooming into the m while it repeatedly buzzes red led light, the text on the bottom saying “no pool, no phone, no kitchenette, no escape”. It’s something of nightmares.
