Having tried this in a production setting, I would heavily recommend this sealing cap be re-designed. The key issue is trying to get the four wires to align with the clips inside the cap. The clips in the cap are just far enough apart that the wires have to be routed individually to each one, you can't leave them as a "bundle" and just push. But because the cap is so short, there is very little bare wire to manipulate - as the opening part of the video shows, only 2 cm. So basically you have to bend each one a little bit while it's outside the cap, then put the cap over and see if they line up - and try again and again. Note that this part of the problem is cut out of the video entirely. It would be the three minutes of video at 0:20. Once you do manage to get the wires in the right position, you have to push VERY evenly on the cable. If you don, you'll apply more pressure to one of the wires than the rest, and instead of going into the clip, it will simply bend. So now you have to pull it out, bend it back into shape, repeat. This also takes some time, and you'll notice in the video that they have sped this portion up - look at the video between 0:22 and 0:36 - 15 seconds here, but maybe 30 in realtime for *each try*. Now imagine doing all of this on a roof. When it's 5 degrees out. And raining. This is a shamefully bad design, and Amphenol should make a new one as soon as possible.
