Great!! Hows the suspension ride? Is it smooth or stiff. The tires are thin so i ask. 😮😢

Pretty sure this is 4wd not awd? Particularly since these are common cars that will send power to the front wheels most of the time. They should not be called AWD.

Got a 2016 CX-5 GT and 2023 CX-5 Signature! Gonna look at CX-70 Turbo S but maybe later. I miss my 94 Mazda Protege 😢, these are some really solid reliable vehicles 💪🏼

I was hoping it would be shorter than the cx-90, it's too long for me, but beautiful suv , will probably end up going with a honda passport when ready.

Yeah, same dimensions as the CX-90. I will say that it doesn't feel "long" or large when driving. It's nimble and fun to drive. But if you're trying to fit it in your garage or something, it is pretty long. Thanks for watching!

Every car brand has an ordinary and a luxury brand, but Mazda itself is a luxury brand now. I own a 2017 CX-5 and still love the way it looks today !!

For sure! It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Like you said, most OEMs split the brand and start a luxury division, but Mazda's sticking to their guns. We'll see how it plays out. Thanks for watching.

Absolute trash … Leaking head gasket and cold plugs ( especially the turbo ) and also transmission issues and brake failures.

I live in western Pennsylvania(Pittsburgh) where the weather changes daily in winter . Prior to my Mazda CX30 I owned an Audi A4 Quattro and have been pleasantly surprised that Mazda's all wheel drive system is nearly identical in performance to Audi. In fact,I say nearly identical because Mazda's system is a little more sensitive and a little quicker to respond to loss of traction or stability than Audi. I purchased my Cx30 because of nothing but positive experience with Mazda vehicles( 3 RX7's,MX6,and a CX 5) the performance of the AWD system came as an added bonus. In my humble opinion, the most under rated mass produced vehicles on the planet!

No offense I still like AWD on Subaru. I don’t like it when Mazda has to split the torque distribution in front or rear. I active AWD it’s called vectoring

Nice video. As a Mazda driver (I lease a 2020 CX-5 Touring FWD) living in Palm Beach County I can agree about the superiority of the Mazda AWD system. Prior to the 2020 CX-5 I had a lease on a 2018 CX-5 Touring AWD, which I leased when I lived in New York (SNOW). When I turned in the 2018 for the 2020 I didn't think that I needed AWD in Florida. Well, while the Mazda traction control system is good, it isn't superior to their AWD system in the rain that we get down here.

Test drove the CX-50 non turbo and the CX-5 non turbo both were really good. The CX-50 was slightly on the weightier side but it’s not a deal breaker. Overall, I was very impressed with the engine transmission combination performance, considering it’s non CVT and non turbo, much better maintenance wise and a lot les bs that could go wrong… I’m purchasing a CX-50 very soon while naturally aspirated engines and non CVT’s are still being offered. Everything is going turbo/CVT these days…

@@rockkstah2550 Thanks for weighing in! Yeah, I've driven both as well and there are some clear differences. I personally like how "substantial" the CX-50 feels. That with the higher ride height, it just feels like it's build to handle whatever you throw at it. Such a shame to see everyone adopting the CVT / turbo combo. I'm so glad Mazda has stuck with their 6-speed - the thing is solid, and quick! If they ever make the switch, we'll be the first ones banging on corporates door! lol. Enjoy the CX-50 when you get it! I'm toying with the idea of trading my 2021 Mazda3 Turbo for one... We'll see...
