Your video is exactly what I was searching. Great step by step approach and straight to the point. I am a little web agency owner who just started out and I would really like more videos on what hosting option I should go with to start. There is too much information and I have no idea what is the best for my clients. Should get a normal host like namehero or go the VPS route and manage my servers myself even though I have no idea how a server works? What are the pros and cons of each and why in a business perspective it makes sense to have my own server and if it is recommended for beginners or not. Hope to see more videos from you.

This is one of the best tutorials I've ever viewed. The pace is perfect, the instructions are clear, the sound is excellent. Thank you so much for making my first SA install a breeze!! One question, if I decide later that I no longer want this site hosted at SA do I just need to backup my site, delete everything at AWS/SA, and update the name servers at my host or do I have to do some sort of reverse process of the setup?

Thank you. Your website isn't actually hosted with Server Avatar. It's on AWS. It's just without SA, figuring out how to manage your website through the AWS console would be a pain. If you drop SA, your website will still be up and running, but possibly without an SSL or firewall.

@@qfido thank you. I'm still not real comfortable with SA. I'm used to cPanel and hosts like Siteground. I'm learning though 😁. Every day I get an email from SA with the subject, "Server load notification!" for a site that is in "Coming Soon" mode, so I clearly have much to learn. 😬

@@JustSturgis That warning means that you don't have enough resources for the needs of your website or app. You can follow this tutorial but use a bigger and better instance. I haven't been in SA for months but I'm about to go in again soon. I'm not well versed in this either, I just put my head down and spent some time with support and thought I could save some people some headaches and money.

Hi, love this,, is there a way you can do a video where you connect a cPanel to the server to complete this?

Jean Griffin ServerAvatar is kind of a replacement for cpanel but it doesn’t do email so you would have to get something like GSuite or Zoho mail.
