WayV has a différent name because they are a chinese unit that debuted when the chinese Hallyu Ban was in place. So they couldn't "officially" be a Kpop group if they wanted to be able to sell their albums in China or appear on chinese tv. They coulnd't promote in korean, or appear in korean music shows like other kpop groups. They still are on every full NCT projects since debut, they never where "excluded" from any NCT content. This year China has partially removed its ban on South Korean cultural content, so now (since the "Give me that" comeback) they can promote on music show and have korean title tracks instead of chinese/english. That's why they only had their first music show win this year, so late in their career.

Maybe being under W1 will not be a problem, because W1 is just part of CJ, and if CJ gets serious this being their first long term girl group project, they can throw all the might of Mnet etc to support it... and they already have the music production sorted, since that is going to be handled by Teddy's Blacklabel agency for the duration of Izna... so this group might actually be very successful, because the girls are amazing, and CJ might think they are worth supporting properly. Their support so far has been next level tbh, they did almost everything right, from kcon and MAMA stages, to all the shows, the ads, the relentless promotion... album sold really well so far too... so it seems to be very different from what they did with other groups.

All the clips I have seen there is one highlight is the transformation of Shay and how beautiful she looked after becoming a pretty in her gorgeous dress

Okay so just so you know you got it wrong. The title track of the first youth chapter was Youth 2 youth and not Breathe in love, it was a promoted bside. They do have actually 2 story line, one based on the albums themselves including the meaning of songs and one were all the members represent a disaster that happens in the world. For the first one they started with two albums Bipolar pt.1 and pt2 which introduced the two series they went back and forth between : anxiety chapter and love chapter. With the anxiety chapter they talk about all the anxiousness and hardships a teenager faces. The love chapter is them discovering love (first crush, first relationship and first breakup). With The anxiety chapter pt2 : Growing pains they concluded their back and forth and opened a new chapter : the youth chapter. Since they are now all adults they started with the song Graduation day and then it's about what young adults faces. For the second story line it's hard to explain because I don't understand it myself. The only thing I know is that Mu represents deforestation, Baekseung pollution and Jeff fires. It was mainly introduced in the teasers of the Bipolar serie and is now used in the photo teasers. So overall their mvs are mainly story line free so no problem in watching without knowing anything Now a little prononciation class : - Epex is eight Apex so the first e is pronounced as e. - Mu is pronounced like the Pokémon so Mew - Lastly not really linked but CIX is pronounced spelled out, so not six but C I X And for Keum participation in produce, his official ranking was 17 but it was rigged, that's why X1 disbanded. He actually should have been in X1

lovely that you wanted to get more into ooo and learn about them as well as spread the love! to answer your questions at the end, my fav song is tear of god (it's a masterpiece) and i did go to several stops in europe since they finally had concerts here <3 the most fun i've ever had at a concert, it was great! i'll also give some additional info on what you talked about ^^ (regarding their pronunciation the j is always pronounced like in the word "just") something i love so much about ooo is how involved they are in their art! they produce, write lyrcis, make choreos and generally give input into what they want to do! they are also very close friends with their other producers. that makes everything they release so much more meaningful! some of them have also written songs for other artists in the past and nine has worked on so many songs he is one of the most credited idols! the members also came up with the first draft of the libido choreo on their own and then worked on it together with their choreographer to refine it. the iconic slap actually wasn't part of the choreo but while messing around during practice nine (the member doing the move) just did the slap for fun and the others liked it so they kept it in the final choreo hhh the members also said that they had not expected libido to get this much attention at all. they got a lot of homophobic hate and backlash back then, especially in korea but overseas as well. but despite that they never backed down and instead doubled down time and time again. their fandom is mostly queer, they have created a beautiful safe space for people! they're way more popular overseas and honestly the korean fanbase isn't growing much unfortunately, the fandom is small but very nice and dedicated which is great to see. lyons generally are very well connected, "everyone knows everyone" kinda vibes. and they're super welcoming towards new fans, people are always really touched when they first join the fandom <3 their name basically means they want to be unique! queerness is definitely something they tackle a lot but they have several reoccurring themes like religion or the bad/toxic sides of love etc! also the fandom name lyOn comes from the name OnlyOneOf: On(lyOn)eOf ^^ the second album is actually called line sun goodness not goddess, but i know a few people who misread that at first hhh dora maar and picasso were in a very toxic relationship, he saw her more as an object than a person, her status as his muse was the most important aspect of her to him. the song dOra maar shows how he viewed her which is ofc a very bad way to view a person. it's a very interesting and clever song with an equally as interesting and intricate choreo! it's a fan favourite! for produced by myself each unit actually produced one minute of a song and that was voted on and only the winning song was supposed to be released as a full song. however fans kept begging for all three to be released so we got all of them and the winning song ended up being the title track instead (it was never promoted on shows or anything tho) i think nine said question mark is kind of like a prelude to libido skinz and the album ip2 were released in korean! i think you mixed it up with suit dance, a bside on that album, which was released in japanese first ^^ underground idol was a big project, each month they released a new song starting in june (pride month)! there was always a several week long teaser roll out, several fansigns and fancalls etc. there was one month skipped because they had a japanese comeback tho ^^ libido as you know was huge for them but ui was too, they gained a lot of new fans through it! seoul drift is conceptually connected to ui and continues the stories of the couples! in ui patience played a big role but in seoul drift it feels like they ran out of patience and in the mv we can see how the story of each couple progressed in 2023 they didn't release much music bc they were touring and filming a drama (which we got an ost for at least) and as you said it's similar this year, the world tour was huge and took several months and even now they just had four more fancons in japan last weekend!

the way you pronounced their name is right! they've only been around for a year so they don't have a lot of songs out yet. the other songs that have mvs are: sure thing (pre-debut release), first class (debut), choke (first comeback).

First, Thanks for your reaction for Xodiac latest MV. A little explanation about your confusion about their concept. The names you see other than the 9 members of xodiac are members of OCJ Newbies, it is a pre-debut group containing all ocj trainees. Before the official debut, they have often made various types of content promotions. But in the end there were only 9 people who fixed their debut as Xodiac. The member replacement system that’s u said to be for singing their bside/digital single. So every album, the title track will be performed by a full 9 members, sometimes when making a mini album there are 2/3 bsides with 9 members too and the rest are sung with a different unit system in each song depending on the song they will sing.
