The guitar I got was great for the most part. Some of the frets were just the tiniest bit too long, so there was a very, very small sharp edge on some of them which started roughing up my fingers after a lot of sliding around. But after about 2 minutes of sanding, they were perfectly fine. As for the pickups, I don't have a ton of single coil experience, but they weren't too much noisier than other single coils I've played. Although, I use pretty tight noise gates most of the time. I personally have more of a problem with their tone than any noise, but the guitar overall has been super fun with a little bit of setup work.

Thank you I appreciate it 🙏 and nah, the 90 fit fine in the tuning machine. I put those strings on there maybe month or 2 ago, so I cant remember if I had to file the nut slot any, but I don't think I had to do anything. For the most part this thing was ready for those big strings with minimal effort, at least in my case. Hope you enjoy the guitar 🤘

I just saw them recently in Fort Worth. They absolutely nailed everything and completely blew me away with the visuals. As for the guitar, it has some cheap hardware (plastic tuners and switch, etc), and I'm not huge on the pickups, so I will definitely be replacing them. But for the most part, I think it plays great and gets the job done, especially for the price, and it's become one of my favorite guitars for sure.

@@wantedjohn Glad to hear! I'm in between checking out the Harley Benton or one of the SubZero ones. I am not looking for perfection (especially at the price), mostly something that can get the job done.

@@matt_kaefer I know those subzero guitars come with humbuckers too. I was excited to get into the low-tuned single coil stuff so it worked out good for me but I think both have really good prices so you're probably safe either way
