Vivo X200 Pro Everything is fine, but the main issue is the display. It is marketed as 'Armor,' but the quality is just average. The display gets scratched easily. Using a screen protector helps resolve this problem.

Everyone is goin on and on about the thickness, but when you hold the phone, its obvious that the Zfld is much more premium and built diff. And also no one ever pointed out the smudge free (matte) of zfold vs the smudge magnet of honor v3. IMO, built quality is smtg to be considered

Haven’t you noticed the noise or smokiness on the white background on the nano texture? It’s like a Matt screen protector on phones. I tried both in the Apple Store. The noise is super obvious on the white background. But It’s just pure white on the normal screen. That alone is a dealbreaker for me to get the normal display.

Yeah, People usually make mistake to get Max model chip on 14 inch, because the cooling are just not enough for the 14 inch fans to cool down the Max chip to be cooled properly, which causes thermal throttling, Maybe the High power mode might help, but it does make everything noisy and most of the time on long tasks, 14 inch wouldn't be enough to cool down Max model chips. Nice thing that you noticed that lol.

I was so close to pulling the trigger on one of these to replace my Surface Pro 7, but for $2,500, considering most of my work is done at my desk, the desktop PC I could build for the same price was a no brainer. I may still get one down the road, but for now going to just wait for CES2025 to finish up and build me a desktop beast with one of the new Nvidia 5000 series GPU's. These new Mac's are so beautiful though! My girlfriend has an M2 Pro and that thing is just the perfect laptop, so considering the performance boost with the M4, I can't even imagine.
@Pundit2k23 сағат бұрын
As a Windows user, I can tell you that the Macbook Pro is good, but NOT perfect. Bought my first Macbook Pro M4 Pro after trying several Windows laptops that outright disappointed me this year. The Pro's build quality is good, but with an asterisk. Yes, it's solid as a rock, but it's also heavy and I dread lugging it around. It also feels like a machine that has to be babied, as you can carelessly scratch the coating with peripherals and zippers and the sound it makes when you accidentally catch metal on metal is as soul crushing as scratching a brand new car. The trackpad also becomes slightly smudged in the middle after only a few uses with clean hands in a way that no other laptop I've ever tried has. Plus, the metal body is a bit cold and unpleasant to put palms on initially. It's the little things that make this an imperfect laptop. Oh, and it also has these sharp edges that cut into my palm as I'm typing or nearly freaking cut me as I accidentally grab it by the exhaust grill on the bottom sides. So, there's a lot of tiny things that aren't issues on most Windows laptops. But hey, I guess that's the price you pay for being in the Apple fan club.

@@Pundit2k I look forward to the next gen of windows on ARM laptops, where everything can essentially run natively, and the iGPU is closer to what you get with a Mac.
@Pundit2k22 сағат бұрын
@@deltax7159 Very true--I was apprehensive about ARM based Windows laptops this year because they're not fully supported yet and who knows what second/third/fourth gen improvements will come out in the next few years that will render this gen obsolete. It was a weird year for Windows laptops this year, so I'm overall happy with my Apple purchase...

Thanks for your video Jason, and greetings from Canada! I’m confused. You said you’ve convinced yourself that you can live with the 14”, yet you purchased a nicely specd 16”! Why? I sold my 16” Intel MacBook and am trying to decide between sizes.
@Yoelsan062Күн бұрын
you would consider to get the 16 inch if you are trying to get the Max chip, because trust me, that 14 inch chassis isn't enough to cool down the Max model, maybe it is enough to cool down M4 Pro with the higher spec, it might not be enough for a lot of people, because in normal automatic power mode, the chip does throttle in long run, but it doesn't throttle in High power mode, but for M4 Max chip, there is A HIGH CHANCE that the High power mode won't be enough to cool down the Mac. Or if you want to get the better deal, with M4 Pro with 14 CPU and 20 GPU(btw as powerful as 32 GPU M1 Max according to Geekbench Metal testing), with more ray tracing capabilities and 24 gigs of ram and 512 gb or storage. might make you choose 16 inch, or if the only screen that you have is the MacBook and you don't have external display or you work a lot outside and you care about the feeling of (mildy) uncomfortable heat on lap while working full load from M4 Pro, or even M4 Max, then get 16 inch, if you have external display, or you work mostly in home, or don't really care about the heat (tbh its not really bad, I have a M4 Pro 14 inch 48GB 1TB and 14 CPU and 20 GPU. It's not really bad), or don't care about having lower battery life, then get 14 inch, also the amount of hours you can get with the 14 inch and 16 inch is getting closer because of the efficiency of M4 chip. Trust me, most of people think "I'm gonna miss 16 inch if I have 14 inch". that's fake, it all depends on the person, whether they care about the loss of the bigger screen, personally, after having the 16 inch M3 Pro, I don't really lost any feeling that I need 16 inch, because the font size were the same, the difference is that you get considerable amount of screen real estate on 16 inch compared to 14 inch. Also, if you are maybe a professional user, consider the cheapest M4 pro available, because it is the best money worth for this year. you get 24GB of ram, CPU and GPU that is better than last year's high end M3 Pro, you get slightly higher battery life. and M4 Pro introduces High power mode for users, both for 14 inch and 16 inch, binned or unbinned. but if you want more performance or want to match similar performance to high end M1 Max with much better cpu and the one that actually beats out i9-14900K, get the better M4 Pro. (both M4 Pro CPU single performance destroyed the i9-14900k's single core performance, the binned version matches the 19-14900k performance, and the high end M4 Pro beats it bout by about 5000 (see Geekbench for more info)). If you consider getting the max chip, try getting the high end one(you actually get the performance of the RTX 3080 Ti Desktop edition, go ahead and search up Blender Benchmark to find out more!) instead of the low end one, because it just isn't very worth it, well it is up to you, watch Alex Ziskind for more info about that. if you have more question or specific ones, I'll be happy to answer!

@@Yoelsan062 thank you for such a thorough response! The specs I’d be looking at are exactly what you listed 14/20 CPU with 48GB RAM and 1TB SSD. Either 14” or 16”. I agree 100% would only get the Max chip in a 16” chassis. I have considered the 16/40 64GB Max but I’m not really a video editor and wondering if it’s just wasted dollars, except for knowing I have a machine that can handle pretty much everything for the next 5-6 years.

maybe, it all comes down to the glass type, since both the nano texture display and normal screens were the same, the difference is that the nano texture screen is a type of screen that causes diffused reflection, instead of specular reflection.

Hi! I'm glad to meet a fellow Wild Rift fan. I have a question for you. I currently play WR every evening on my iPad Air 4 (2020). A few weeks ago, I was considering buying an iPad Pro 12.9 (M2) for its 120Hz refresh rate, excellent speakers, and large, vibrant display. However, today I've dramatically changed my mind: I'm thinking about selling my iPad Air 4 and getting an iPad Mini 7 instead. Why? Although the iPad Pro excels in every aspect, I feel that even my Air 4 is too big and heavy, let alone the iPad Pro. My only concern is that the iPad Mini might be too small for Wild Rift after using the Air. Have you had experience playing on both a 10-13 inch iPad and the 8.3-inch Mini? What are your thoughts on this? And one more question about Wild Rift. A long time ago, when the iPad mini 6 was released, the Wild Rift game had black frames because of the non-standard aspect ratio. Is this problem gone on iPad mini 6 and 7? p.s. I also have a Macbook Air M1 and a Mac mini M1 with a 28" display. So no matter which new iPad I choose, I'm still getting rid of my iPad Air. p.s.s. Jhin the best!
