I really loved this movie, and thought Brad Pitt was FABULOUS in this role. ♥♥♥

Why does the lady playing the doctor always squint her eyes? Distracting.

For some reason Brad Pitt thinks this is the worst role in his career. "peak of losing sense of direction and compass" or smth like that he said. I disagree with Brad Pitt :D

How Thomas Newman didn't win an Academy Award for this score is beyond me.

Smart for Triumph to use their bikes in this. They sold LOTS after it came out.

I had a similar car in 1987 when I was 16. It was a 1978 Smokey and the Bandit special. That car got me in SOOO much trouble, and not really by the law. LMFAO !!

The song "Old Black Joe" was about an old man whose friends have all gone before him, waiting to die, so I think that is where the title "Meet Joe Black" came from, the Faulkner character in "Barton Fink" sings it, I wonder which movie came first.
@airforceone65235 сағат бұрын
I was confused. Was meet joe black the angel of death? Or a grim reaper?
@alfred-ix8pg5 сағат бұрын
Yup… of course it had to be the black that is only able to recognized some Voodoo stuff… it s tiring

This movie is so fun to watch. Julia and George are so comfortable and their acting skills are top notch. I wished the setting was really in Bali, though! (It's not in Bali because the pandemic)

She really should have been nominated for an Oscar for Supporting Actress.As much as I love Dame Judy Dench I really think that Lois Kelly Miller did more in this role than Dame Judy did in Shakespeare in Love.

I read an article in Playboy IIRC about 30 years ago that was about the making of S&TB and the general breakdown is as follows: Everyone was drinking by about 11:00 AM. Every. Day. The add-libbing and improv of dialog and lines was about 60% of the movie. Cast, crew, extras etc. were all pretty much partying the whole time. Gleason had people laughing until they cried every day. Most people associated with making the movie said it was the most fun they ever had getting paid to do something. A movie will never be made like this again.

That's same scene at the end of the 2nd movie, but in the 2nd movie, the scene only had jason bourne and pam landy in it, when she answers the phone, he says, i heard you're still looking for me, before he hangs up, he tells her to get some rest, she looks tired and then the famous bourne music plays ending the movie
