I think it's called rayman origins because it's supposed To be some sort of a reboot to Rayman 1, in fact,some of the enemies in jibberish jungle are literally the same enemies from rayman 1, another thing to note is that in rayman origins, in the first level of each World, you get a new power, just like in rayman 1 And the second world of origins is literally just band land

Just finished playing through the Rayman trilogy, and Origins after. Honestly Origins is probably the best game in the series and it might not even be very close. I feel like 3D Rayman is extremely overrated and unpolished, and the first game is pretty good but way too difficult. Origins was original, with good music and addictive gameplay. Really hard to say any of the other games have that going for them.

I would love a remake of both games packed into 1 and made some reworks for the levels in Origins to match the creativeness of Legends. AND the inclusion of the lore in the games. Having a few cutscenes here and there between the levels.
