Steve Kimock said most bands couldn't stack all their albums against In Memory of Elizabeth Reed. His life long dream was to play this song with the Bros. He got his opportunity. It's out there somewhere if you care to look.

Tim Bogert was the real star of BBA. Utterly killer playing, singing, presence. No wonder Beck left--it wasn't him at the center.

Thanks a lot, man!

OK then... I've made efforts to get any/all vids of Duane - on or off stage for many years. Not a lot out there it seems. This is new to me. It's maybe my fav concert with Duane playing, so despite the difficult sound, I appreciate it so much! thanks

Whipping post isn’t only my favorite song, it describes my last 2 years with a woman called Audra. She broke my car’s bumper, lied about having it fixed, made me pay for it and it wasn’t fixed. She took $40000 from me over 2 years and then this month (Jan 2nd, left me homeless in my car in winter and my car’s heater is broken. I’ve living with my best friend and surviving on $1000 inwhich includes borrowing $600 to be repaid on Feb 1. 😢

If you weren't alive to hear this when they first appeared, there's no way to explain how remarkable their sound was. You can listen now thankfully, but to be 20 years young and hearing this for the first time was simply amazing. I'm so glad I was. I didn't get to this venue, but I made it to others for which I am eternally grateful.

I saw the ABB come together in the late 60's when I was in high school in Jacksonville. Jax Beach Coliseum, the Forrest Inn, Cedar Hills Armory, the Be In jams in Riverside. All this gave birth to what followed. Jacksonville was a hot bed of rock n roll music back then.
