Not book accurate at all, try first 24 pages, and who cares on kid tally. Back story we didn't need was wrong, gold eyes was wrong, spying on new pretty town with glasses never happened and characters and cast were all wrong, you want joey king as tally? Ok she's short at five foot four in so make rest of cast more height variety and for some reason after my rants how bad this is I made self wish Eva green or nell was Dr cable. I'd never do Nell as tally only cuz Nell has played a princess, been in horror movies Dr cable is a sci fiction villain and despite fact Eva green can get type cast, why Dr cable, well look at less popular movies she was in and fact she's been villain in PG 13 rated movie so ..... Oh and in book it just says tally is taller than pretties and wonders if bungee jacket will hold her. Well book doesn't specify more but for joey king to look tall all pretties would need be like five three or shorter, or barring that make cable shorter and have male and female average to tall ppl

I really liked the series (but maybe I just missed the books too much ;) ) though I still like the book much more! I would be very disappointed, if they go straight to book 3, I would love to see book 2 as an adaptation, but I also think they were putting out a lot of hints to book 3

I love the first book in this series. I never continued reading after that. In my opinion, some books don't need sequels, and Life As We Knew It is one of them. It works perfectly as a standalone novel.

She does waiver on thinking Sal is innocent in the book! But that plotline about her dad maybe cheating came out of nowhere. All of the changes everywhere in the series KILLED me. I've seen a bunch of people saying that the way they cut out all of the eventually irrelevant clues and changed even the ones they did include, they made it so that Pip gets handed everything and essentially doesn't have to work at all for her discoveries and leads.
@annagwritesandreadsАй бұрын
@@emilyhall4625 i definitely need to reread it on the Sal part; i remember them like proving his innocence by retracing his steps and they didn’t do that in the show 😂 and that describes it SO well because it does feel like pip had a pretty straight up mystery to solve , not having to work with the red herrings in the book
