I saw the video short of him in the studio with Granduciel recording this song and I knew this was going to be huge. I was waiting the last few months for this to drop. Fender is the real deal; there's nothing fake about him. Real talent, real emotion, no bullshit - just great music. Take it from a Jersey guy, this guy's better than Springsteen.

Springsteen is soon to retire, but i’ll bet he is watching this kid, smiling and thinking: «Mission accomplished!»

Fender already has more good songs than Springsteen and it's only his third album.

@@vitoq3757 well that's just a load of smack bro, sam is incredible but he is levels below being Bruce's quality
@vitoq37573 күн бұрын
@@lewisclarkson8275 Have you listened to Bruce’s full catalog? The Amboy Dukes rip offs abut the lousy acoustic material which gives way to the Cougar Mellancamp ripoff material. I’m from Jersey and what aggravates me is that Bruce is a fraud. He’s from the Jersey Shore but he speaks with this fake midwestern accent. I’ve never met another person from Jersey who sounds like him. The guy’s always been a wannabe.

@@lewisclarkson8275 And what’s worse is that people go nuts over him and his music is mediocre. Sam Fender already has more good songs than Bruce because Sam is genuine and Bruce is a poser.

@@lewisclarkson8275 Sam writes about hard times he actually experienced in one of the worst towns in the UK. Bruce’s persona is completely made up.

I first heard this at his Plymouth concert, I tell you what this could be his biggest song ever. It is so so good…

I am 42 and rarely get moved by music nowadays (old man comment), this lad however is just on the money all the time. Class songs, subject matter maybe but makes me feel it. Love this lad

I'm 46. And I agree entirely. The way I describe him is that he makes you dance and cry at the same time.

Also mid 40’s and agree totally,music scene is dire these days but he is the one shining light in the sea of mediocrity
