100% COACH fault for choosing shit opener... ruins ur mental, ruins everything. u can see she is struggling mentally more, which heavy lifting at the top, is just more about mental and form rather than muscle

Blame the coach fair and square for getting her to open too heavy! Similar stupid coaching cost Australian lifters higher medals in the last Commonwealth Games. I don't care how tight the competition is; there is no excuse for making a lifter open with weights in excess of their known personal bests, or even at their personal bests. Get an opener on the board before going crazy. There is a good chance that a lifter may make a new personal best in a high pressure competition . . . if they are allowed to build up to it. But for goodness sake, coaches, don't force that onto any lifter by making them open with such weights!

"People are right to be critical of how much of her fame comes from her beauty not from her being the best in the world" - WTF that means, so you are allowed to be famous only if you are the best inthe world??? And who said she's being famous for the weight lifters??? And it's not like it's her fault because she's beautiful.. And people follow and like other people for whatever the hell they want to do it, not because some brain washers are telling them what to like and follow.. Jessus Chirst we are in the lowest point our society has ever been, getting bashed because people likes you for your beauty... 🤦‍♂

A average women is shy of 61KG can lift 70KG on average in a squat lift. 85KG is not impressive even for a women standards as the record is 300Kg but she's a heavy girl at 123KG slightly heavier then myself. Average male weighs shy of 78.1 kgs which can squat lift is 130Kg. Not to knock Giulia Imperio as it takes effort to acquire a good physique like that. I weigh about 100Kg though in my prime was 118kg for perspective at 6' 4'' though shorter men argue 6'5'' to gain an inch I suspect. I am not weightlifter in the slightest mind but was bareknuckle boxer & wrestler in my youth yet I have to prove point having never been in a gym squat lifted 360KG which isn't bad for someone that doesn't practice lifting. The record at present is 470KG for a male but I have no interest in such a record if my bodies muscle physique would become so disproportionate to combat. I like to retain my full range of motion & mobility personally! Many people over do weight which I only use a pair of 5Ib/ about 2-3KG dumb bells. Good food with dedication & rest is more beneficial then over doing weights as it can't be good on your joints. Mind each to their own even if I don't get why people do some of the things they do!

what are you talking about. Its just a squat, not a squat lift. You're also comparing apples to oranges rn. Comparing cleans/snatches to squats is such a huge questionmark. Admittely, she's by no means ''the strongest'', but thats another topic Also, average untrained women will not squad 70kg. Im also calling bs on squatting 360kg even if you're that gigantic

@@Maiwa-wk9yh Believe what you want as makes no difference to me. Being muscular from hunting & tracking well over a 40 miles a day on the regular carrying kit does wonder to the body. Who needs a when you can have a jog in full kit. Never understood the need of a gym when plenty of heavy work to be done in person. Butchering a whole animal be it hunting or when I was my god's father apprentice butcher at 10 is far more exercise then most would think. Mind these figures given for 70Kg are from back in the day before lifts, automatics doors & many other conveniences being common place. People have gotten even more complacent since such civilian sector automation. 70Kg was the average for the average women but just look at how sedimentary run of the mill person is in general compared to even a decade or 2 ago never mind earlier. Todays averages are not healthy averages as most people unwell let alone a normal bill of health. Women were tougher in the past & kind of miss old girls like them. My Great grandmother Hildegard even over a century old is stronger then average women these days as is keen as ever. People are not built like they were in the past & I blame the times-mentality as weak times make weak people! The weakness is visible in most everything people do these day! Why I don't associate as passing observer.

she has a muscle imbalance its why she keeps failing her lifts, her right side is stronger than her left, if she does the clean on lower weight from the opposite side it should fix her problem, she needs to build those stabilizing muscles on that opposite side through exercise inversion to solidify the failure of those lifts its pretty apparent that's why she's failing , having all the strength loaded to her preferred side because all she does is practice the sharpening of that Olympic lift generated her imbalance, causing her to fail at the higher weight until further notice. and more military presses until she is even.

Will never understand why is this even a thing...why do you need weight classes in weightlifting...the winner should be the one who can lift the most...who cares about "i can lift the most in the 60kg" category really? Sure you can lift as much as any high school senior boy after a summer of training...

Kind of that modern beautiful girl syndrome. Getting huge unearned attention for her looks on social media. That didn't translate to tell world, maybe except some free money. Resulting mental health issues. The girls are difficult to blame here. When you get 10x more attention and money for your looks not skills, it messes up the head of everybody. More accomplished friends with much less "success" get jealous. Also they know the beauty has expiring day and nothing can be done with it. Quite depressing IMO.

You're right, it's kind of unfair. People should be noticing how handsome male weight lifters are. Men don't get complimented enough for their handsome manly physique. I wish more women would praise how good men looked. Its freaking insulting to workout this hard and not have anyone notice.
