i have the same problem with my mavic air 2. only happen during recording though

I havent bought the Insta360 sphere due to people reporting these gps issues. Otherwise i would like to have one. Hugh Hough also mentioned jitter in the footage when ascending (flying in a straight vertical line). For steady horizontal flights its ok. Stabilization sucks due to vibration.

Did the weak GPS cause you to crash it?

Same problem here, we generally get 25-27 satellites in an open area, with the Sphere recording I'll get 12 if I'm lucky. Under trees, I'll get 12-17, but ZERO to 5 with sphere recording. Definitely some kind of interference happening. I'd be curious to know if the repaired unit they send you works better.

I attached mine while the drone was on, I noticed a GPS drop but within a few seconds, it was good. I definitely don't recommend flying it far...because of the battery drain

I have been having a little issue with my GPS lock when I put the sphere on. It will take a bit lock 12 then go back to 10 or 11 then back up. It will eventually get more but by then I am already flying. So its a little schetchy at times. I noticed though that my air 2s takes a few to lock satellites anyway so maybe the sphere isn't doing it? Love the sphere though if you don't have one get one!

I'm not having the issue because I only ordered mine 30 days ago and nobody knows when it will actually ship. Hopefully the issue will be resolved by the time mine arrives.
