Can somebody please explain the math behind the bunker shot ? I suck with numbers. I managed to eventually comprehend the first part on account of your excellent teaching, but when you added the 6 yards to the bunker shot I tried forever to understand where you got that extra 6 yards from. I'm stuck trying to unlock Mario on the N64 cartridge from my childhood but these tips may help a bit, thanks. I lost to him 3 times after 18 holes each, on the last 2 shots. Even once in Sudden Death. BEYOND frustrating!!

I think if you press A then B then A you can add backspin. Also you can use Z or R to target a specific spot on the ball during the swing.

i can rarely get a nice shot, it's like there is a delay from when i press the A button, is this normal?, or is it just part of the game?, or just modern TVs unable to cope with it?

18 doesn't work with that speed for me. Same aim w/ about 3 7/8 works...but it's a very tight window. If you want to play safe, turn right about 90° and 3 power. Continue until down to the pipe. It will take at least 4 to get into the pipe, sometimes 5. Par is easy if you get it in 4, otherwise bogey is likely but easier this way not to blow an achievement run...

hole in 1 on 12 is possible but extremely difficult. Turn 90° left and hit through the booster at just under full power...let your ball just begin to dip as it approaches the rock. you will rebound, immediately hit your booster and as the camera shifts *and* if you got the angle nearly pixel perfect, it will fly towards the hole area. I've never made it but seen it done on youtube. I have managed a 2 from it but I like the strat used here if you're just going the par achievement. Much easier.

Thank you. Though, just incase you won't be checking the speedrun submissions again, I've just submitted a new, faster time of MRC. I most likely won't try to improve this for a while, not until it gets beaten by someone else. But yeah, there should be one new submission pending for you to verify, if that's okay with you.

Maybe a bit late, but Thanks for trying out to catch on every hole a Hole in one! The crazy thing about hole #18 is, i try it out in th eeditor and it still works fine if you go there with full power straight away, but that changes again after a couple updates?! Whatsoever, thanks for playing my course back in the days. ^^

No problem. Yea the updates took out a lot of my shots from the actual courses on the game as well. That’s what made me stop doing videos because they could just make them out of date every couple months with their updates.

I’ve been playing him for a week now and can keep it fairly close early on but he starts to slip away as the game goes on

@@_rorror_ best advice I can give is to come up with a strategy where you can hit your approach shots using a full swing. It is a lot easier than doing the math and finding the right tick mark to stop at. It may take a few rounds thru to figure out but overall it will be easier than just hitting driver and then hoping for the best.
