I feel like Topuria will remain undefeated in his division. He already beat his toughtest opponents and Lopes is a bit overrated. He is decent, but Topuria destroys him on the feet and I hardly see him winning topuria on the ground.

I would have said 4-5 if he was out of the rankings but now that he’s in it, I think his striking is definitely up to par to be at the top but the liability on the ground against Dricus, Allen, Hernandez, Imavov etc is just too wide a margin and he’ll run into at least one of them in 2-3 fights as he’ll only be fighting ranked opposition.

The only issue being in the rankings now is that cherry picking is basically eliminated now, he will have to fight fighters that have decent wrestling and that’s what he has been kept away from his entire career, but once he gets around that top 5 there won’t be a choice

Man I would suggest you watch that Rinat fight again, it’s hard for me to even see him winning a round

It was a razor close fight without a doubt as I said, and leal has the most decisive round being R2, but Rinat won that first round - leal outlanded him by 1 strike but Rinat had almost half a round of control time. The third was razor close but I edged it to Rinat on Damage through the last half of the round he was just landing a bit cleaner, but can ultimately see it going either way. But he definitely did not win 30-27 which was my argument in the recap.

good stuff man, the rebecki value is insane to me. The dudes really good on the ground I think he's gonna have no problem stuffing/getting up from takedowns early. Definitely could be a problem later but Orolbi did have some gas tank issues against Brennar as well.

Thanks for the support! And I definitely agree with you.. Rebecki has fought better opposition is a bit of a nightmare with that low centre of gravity and could possibly outstrike Orolbai so it makes it razor close, not one of the ones I’d been keen to bet on
