I am very proud of my nephew and the business he has developed. College is not for everyone and using skills learned in trade classes can be very rewarding. Matt has made several projects for my son and all are exceptional. Also taking on a young trades person and passing on your skills is a noble endeavor. Our son started in the trade just that way. Keep up the great work.

So are we taking a screen shot of what's being already emailed to the student? Isn't that redundant? Assuming the student isn't pulling out device immediately before they enter the building, wouldn't they know well ahead of time they don't have their access pass? Wouldn't this work better if once the parent certifies their child, it updates a database that only requires scanning barcode on student id? It's like the wheel is being reinvented. Had 7 months and this is the solution?

If this is the route being taken, then the onus should be placed on the student where they self-certify and the parent gets the confirmation email. Since the students are adult enough to follow protocols at school, they should be adult enough to self-certify before they head to school.

This is asking parents and kids to do alot. Many parents are not home when kids get up/go to school. An app is needed!

Hi Christine, thank you for your message. In an effort to simplify this process, parents listed as Family 1 in Skyward will receive an email with a secure link every day. This direct link includes forms for each child enrolled in D155 and you will be able to complete the form online. Once the form is complete, students will receive an email link to a secure link daily to show their ePass before they board the bus and/or when they enter the building. Parents & guardians can also choose to send a screenshot of the completed form to their student(s) or print the form. Please feel free to email [email protected] should you have further questions. @@CHSD155 I have not received an email at all, I have verified both email addresses on our family information in Skyward, I have checked all junk, spam, etc. folders and nothing. Will send a printed form on Day 1 - who do we contact at the district to ensure we receive the email going forward
