Super had to tell but ufo was playing in the big tent during the thunderstorm that night. I’d love to find footage of when the storm rolled in. Surprised we all didn’t get fried because the floor was flooded and the cables were all submerged 😂

The Midwest techno scene in the middle 90's was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run... But no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were here and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant.

I was also there. Kurt said in an interview he did with Dustin Zahn back in 2016 that the fire guy lived and Kurt spoke with him years later. Not sure what the truth of that is, but I don’t think that was the reason they stopped doing Furthur. After all, they had it in 2001 as well. The interview is on KZbin somewhere I believe. Edit: actually, I remember Kurt saying in that interview that he’s actually fb friends with the fire guy now.
