As a mage, i was able to solo the Enraged Leywalkers after taking 1 death (so that you can start the fight from max range) and using a Greater Arcane Protection Potion. I was fire spec with 2485 hp and 254 fire spell power

where is alliance?

This is a poorly written guide. Multiple mistakes on weapon enchants, 0 info about boss fights, saying to use talent points in Imp Fireball, when we are not even using fireball....Should just delete this or remake it.

What is your UI you're using?

im guessing this guide isn't exactly for mages that didn't already have raid gear before phase 3 dropped. I didn't start my mage until phase 3 and at 48 the ogres in tanaris stomp me pretty hard. I run out of mana before i can finish them and have to mana or use a gem. i will say however ive been able to do every single other spot so far its just these orges are a little tough for a poorly geared in greens mage lol

I bought around 10 to 15 Scroll: THAW WORDS on ah for 45s each to get the 4 Geomancy scrolls, so I'm guessing from this small sample size it's about a 30% chance. Going to try solo the kills tonight

i would recommand ''winter's might'' on weapon for +7 frost SP which works with FF bolt. dismantle seems a bit useless :P

I wanna let you know and anyone else that sees this - this phase will require a lot more than gear/sims/consumes to parse 99s. As long as add damage count towards parses in this raid - you’ll need to change your tactics in almost every fight to get high parses. Also frostfire bolt is just better.

the raid i was in as a mage i unfortunately was a large factor in damaging the objects. hoping next lockout i can do what you're doing here and just space those frostfire bolt casts in there perfectly.

Hey, any idea of the % to get Geomancy after opening one of these P3 scrolls? I tried like 3 different scrolls (the good ones that are supposed to drop it, and paid 20g in total), and didn't get any. So I stopped since I didn't wanna go bankrupt for one rune, lol.

for pve is impact really the better choice? i feel like dodging the chance to stun and possibly mess up a pull or something might be more useful by jus running fireball but I could be wrong too, i wanna hear what u think
