Congratulations on the video, it was excellent, San José is a wonderful city, I hope to visit one day. I started a channel here on KZbin recently and record in the same way here in Brazil. I signed up, I will follow you from now on. A big hug !!!🙂

Born and raised, I had to take bus to down town and transfer to another bus but, while walking to my next bus stop Mexican barrio gangs would be everywhere. They jacked up the rent and made them move or made them homeless.

Population replacement is a reality. Those who live in the Matrix choose to ignore it, until their death bed, when they see the people sending them off are Asians. There's a prophetic song in the 90s by Jesus Jones called "Yellow Brown".

You’re awesome. I studied in SJSU for 4 1/2 years and I miss DTSJ so much. I feel like crying because of all the memories I have from there and how fast it passed. I wish I made use of it more. I guess we don’t really appreciate things till we lose them :(

I am requesting permission to use 8 (eight) seconds from this video. I am a retired teacher. I will be interviewing a resident of Mountain View, via Zoom. I would use this 8 second clip as an establishment shot. My videos are made available to teachers around the world free of charge for educational purposes on my KZbin Channel kzbin.info Please let me know if you require further information. Proper attribution will be given.

Hi. It is nice to see the video. I am building a local social network where people post live video content on topics like experiences, housing, reviewing schools, things for kids etc. in their neighborhood. The same content can then be uploaded to youtube as well under their channel with just a click. Was wondering if you would have time to provide your valuable feedback.

I know. My grandma used to work at the Pink Poodle. She was a bartender. My aunt worked at Burger Bar as well for grease burgers. We all used to go to Happi House on weekends for fun too. So sad what's happened to San Jose. We all loved the Capital Drive in at nights. That's my home.😥😥I loved going to the flea market on weekends.

Thank you for uploading this! Wow, so much has changed in a year. It's a little surreal to see a lot of people out in DTSJ as compared to now, since we're in another lockdown. It seemed livelier a year ago, especially at Plaza de Cesar Chavez. And I sorta miss going into that Safeway after working out at the Bally Total Fitness that was in Paseo de San Antonio.

I was born and raised in San Jose back in the 70s and 80s. Downtown sure has greatly improved. When I was a kid, most of downtown was very trashy and no one hung out there outside of having to commute in and out of downtown for work. Thanks for posting.

Me to but, the gangs were everywhere. I had to walk in front of them to get to the other bus. That's why they jacked up the rent to get rid of gangs. Ohio is the bomb baby.

THAT Bitch. San Francisco is also pretty nice depending on which side. The beaches are close and there are a lot of places to go to. San Jose is pretty calm and a nice place to make a living. I’ve been here for a long time and nothing bad has ever happened.

That's down town and it's basically the only exception. Once you start going to the suburban areas it gets pretty messy.
