Most of them were never invited to perform at either Carnegie Hall or New York Philharmonic. This video should be updated each 5 years...

It's very interesting to look at the wikipedia for the 1990 competition only to see everybody effectively said "yea, this year sucked."😂😅

All these concertos dozens of times but never Khachaturian's. Why?

At this point it's already at its best, with the piano resonating with a rich sound.

Played so ridiculously fast that you can't even understand the music. Absurd and awful. Grow up.

I'm 75 and have been listening and attending live concerts of great pianists for 60 years. Unfortunately Yuja Wang does not qualify as she is obviously a pre-programmed synthetic humanoid sent to us from a distant and more highly evolved galaxy to assess the development of the relatively undeleveloped human race.

She was not to play the 2nd Brahms Concerto again! She mainly plays Prokofiev. What's the point?

Gavrylyuk was my favorite, gentleness and furiousness were balanced tastefully well.

I thought it was a strange work until the last movement started. It is completely transcendental, and makes the other two movements feel like you've been lied to the whole time, whilst you see the strange and ugly, but also beautiful truth
