I love the Californians because I am a Californian and New Yorkers doing LA is incredibly enjoyable, but these directions are ridiculous. If you wanna go from Santa Monica to Mulholland you would not get back on San Vicente, take it to the 10, and switch to the 405 north. You’d get to Mulholland faster if you took the 10 East, switched to the 110, exited left toward the 5 north, and then took the 2. Personally though, if I wanted someone to have a bad time I’d tell them to stay off the freeways entirely and power through Olympic then deal with the traffic on Beverly.

as a SoCal guy, this skit is almost close to being real😂. we constantly talk about our commutes, complaining about the traffic, always prefacing a freeway/ highway/ interstate with 'the' you can easily tell if someone is from LA if they say something like, 'oh, I just the 405 then into the 110...'😂

@DadFunny Yes! In the summer of 2010 I decided to go to the beach in Malibu which is about 12 miles away. I got on the 405 and spent 4 hours there! Couldn't go on the side streets cause they were also jammed. I ended up with cramps on my right leg. Finally got to the beach, spent a couple of hours then came back. Thankfully the trip back was less than an hour. Look at videos of the 405 on Thanksgiving so you get an idea of what I went through 🤣
