I really don't think this is sacreligious. The mood DOES fit the song and Nick's twilight. Give it a chance: come on, who's the young guy, smoking in the waning light of afternoon? Will he be around tomorrow? He tries to move the big tree with his feet, as if he's log rolling, and then stops, perhaps realizing the silliness of it. This guy is haughty, arrogant, in the prime of his life, pissing in the river. Trevor Dann described this side of Nick as well. Nice job.

yeah, he was great (he still is). He died (1974) from an overdose when he was only 26 years old. thnx 4 interest ;)
