I am stuck between two sizes, one is smaller than my nostrils but the next size up pushes against the noostril walls.. which one shoould I be using? i woouldnt want my nostrils to end up in a circle shape.

Hey Dr. I am 6 days post op and I noticed one of my nostrils are bigger than the other. It wasn’t like that pre op. Is this temporary due to asymmetric swelling? Should this be a cause for concern?

Get the dilator , wear it 24 hours 1 week . After that wear it when you at home

Hello Doctor , thank you for sharing this wonderful information as I was worrying about my nose stril I had my rhinoplasty 2 weeks ago , and my left side smaller than the right which it was already like that even before the surgery due to muscle weakness, so after surgery it stayed asymmetrical and it looked more inside than outside so as I searching if I could use something to make it wider , I found about this nostril stainer , should I be wearing it all time for 2 months ? Or more ? And should I be wearing it both side if my concern is to make both wider and looks natural . Will it make my nostril big in the future??

Your video is wonderful, thanks for talking about this I just got my septum rhinoplasty surgery done and the size of de deviated side is bigger than the not deviated one, so i should use on the one who weren't deviated ? My nostrils weren't uneven before the surgery

Affected side is more effective and its better to increase the size as the nostrils get wider

It's not too late for me. I had skin cancer on the left side of my nose, had it removed by a plastic surgeon, and then about 9 months later the nostril started collapsing when I wear my cpap mask at night for sleep aphena. My doctor suggested the breath strips on top of the nose, but they fall off. I just ordered "nasal vent" package at Amazon which comes with 8 pieces in four different sizes. Like the doctor said, start with one size and see if the size needs to be changed in a week or so. Also, because I work at home I will be wearing them in the daytime too. Good luck with getting the, which only cost me $8.99 (US dollar) with free shipping.

This was so informative, thanks Doc! I had Rhinoplasty done in August 2019. But after a few months small bumps started to appear and harden. They're actually quite visible and I still can't wear glasses because of pain. I was intending to get rivisional rhinoplasty.
