The reason why they are made to aim horribly is due to the misunderstanding of the scene where Luke is in the death star for the first time, in the mentioned scene the storm troopers missed every shot because vader wanted them to escape. Ever since then its been a running gag after the prequals when in actuality the stormtroopers are far more deadlier than they are made out to be.

Had my septum shaved down in surgery because it was impeding my breathing. Pretty much had a golf ball sized blood clot snot rocket like this come out my nose in the shower. Felt so good to breathe through my nose 😂
