I loved SC 1 but being able to play, almost 10 years later with such love, from other SC fans makes me happy AF, I thought I was good enough at this game, but you never know enough as it seems, deeply thanks man 🫡🫡💯

this video got too few views... i'm rank A Terran and I didn't know some of the things, like the patrol with valks during turn has to be infront of the mutas, i sometimes make the mistake of holding pos with goliaths to shoot interceptors, useful tip to hold pos your mm ball vs muta, i rarely use hold position i see... Great vid Cryoc, I ran a few times into you on ladder and won like 2 games while you won like 6 :P

What build do you recommend for beginners in TvZ? Thanks
@cryoc9555 Жыл бұрын
If you are a real beginner, I would recommend to go for 1 base builds to improve your general understanding of the game. Macro is usually not good enough to effectively make use of a second base but exposes you to a lot of hard to hold attacks which makes it frustrating. My personal recommendation would be 2 rax academy into tech on 1 base. Here is the build order: 9: depot 11: barracks 12: scout - if you do not find them first try, send out another scout (~@15) to double scout the last positions so you don't get blindsided by quick lings 13: barracks 14: depot @barracks finishes: constant marine production, we will make 4 out of our two barracks 19: gas @4 marines: stop marine production 23: academy, then depot 24: marine production starts back up @academy: stim pack and 2 medics, then comsats (you should have 22 SCVs at this point including the scouts) 32: depot @2 medics: move out with your whole army, queue 2 firebats When your moveout hits their base, scan their defenses. If they don't have enough (less than 2 finished sunks), go kill them. 36: factory, around 4:50 39: ebay and depot We want to stop worker production at 24 workers. That should be around now. Because we may be losing units from this point on, next steps will be in-game timings. You'll also have to remember to make depots yourself. Scan their base at 5:45 to confirm whether they're going mutas or lurkers. @factory: addon @ebay: if you scanned mutas, get a few turrets, at our mineral line and at our production group your army in places where mutas are likely to attack @ebay: get +1 infantry attack and marine range @addon: start tanks and siege tank 7:10: starport move out with 2 siege tanks and your army. Siege up and watch as they die a horrible death. @starport: addon, science facility 8:50: expand if possible Note on dealing with lurkers If you scan at 5:45 and see lurker tech instead of mutas, cancel the turrets and build one near your ramp instead.

*Pro tip:* When you transfer drones to natural, press Return Cargo _after_ you clicked on the minerals, this way transfer workers will drop cargo at the main _then_ proceed to mine on the new site empty-handed.
@weichergangster10 күн бұрын
What does "return drones to natural" mean?
@alexxx443410 күн бұрын
@weichergangster 'Natural' is a term for the second mining base close to the one you start with ('Main'). There is a point when the building of the command center in the Natural completes and you transfer some of the workers from the Main there to kick start the mining.

Hi will you do more of this in the future or plan to do another coaching session in KZbin? Meta has changed a little bit and would appreciate a coaching section on a more advanced player problably around 1600-1700MMR

Thanks for the coaching session :) ! The first game vs 1h lurker was crazy though, I thought you were dead when you lost twice tanks and m&m balls but you manage to comeback by playing more carefully and exploiting the zerg's mistake(when he put lurker at the nat and threw many mutas). It's impressive !
@cryoc95553 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yeah, this game shows that 1 base Terran versus a 1 hatch lair opening is not as weak as many believe. Despite not having the best engagements all the time, you still pose a serious threat.

Going down ramp and making a bunker should only be done like that if you have scouting info. Otherwise, youd wanna bring scvs to block and make some stuff for walls, because if they pounce with alot of lings before the bunker is up you lose.
@Art-uz3fk4 жыл бұрын
Good shit! Particularly the walling demo. SC sim citys so quirky. Terran definitely is the hardest race for beginners due to strength of ling or zealot rushes
