Man , I love this song almost as much as I loved the stuff that made Milwaukee famous The song don’t lead me to police and hospitals and despair though 😰

So emotional to see the true admiration these two men, musicians, friends have for each other. What a trip. So glad I've had the joy of living through this lifetime with the likes of these two Wild Renegades. God bless you both. Thank you for a lifetime of the greatest music. Love, from California.

Those weeping Dixieland horns and JLLs piano and singing. The Killer is gone and I’m thankful for those trying but nobody could ever fill his boots.

Jerry Lee would have been 89 today. He first blew me away when i was 13,with Whole 'Lotta Shakin' Goin' On,and,at 80 he still does. This was written by Sonny Throckmorton and recorded by the Killer in 1977.

Boy, do I ever like this version of "Hit the Road Jack." Jerry Lee gave it an ever-so-slight somber feel to it, while also simultaneously lifting it up with an ever-so-slight surf vibe, of all things. Plus, the piano playing -- as usual -- is out of this world. His piano theatrics reminds me of old Chico Marx (check out some of his stuff on KZbin, if you don't believe me). 👍
